Mount Amanzi reviews
53Ideal location for a weekend getaway. Lots of kids activities including a heated covered pool, fishing, tennis, multi-purpose court, and loads of other activities to keep the kids busy.
Total of time. I was told to come through to fetch a voucher regarding a 5 day holiday. The service I received was pathetic, thinking I was going to purchase time shares with the worst place. I filled out documentation sat over hours with no assistance and when I eventually got help. The guy was soo rude and so racist I ended up walking out of this resort the manager called me apologizing for their behavior and promised to email me my holiday. But since I have not received anything. I will never recommend any white or Indian to chose this resort! As they are full of racists admins n totally unprofessional.
I am here at the moment, complained about noisy people in Karee 28 and nothing was done.
This is now the last time we were here since 1990.
Enjoy the noise!
Enjoyed the stay, the staff was friendly, the units were very well equipped with everything that you need. The terrain is well kept, loads of green grass to kick ball and play with the kids, quiz session around the pool. When we book again, I will spend a little bit more money and book a 2-bedroom unit. There is lots to do in and around the area.
Very nice place child friendly, clean, neat you constantly see staff/security I felt safe even for kids
The place is lovely for family, full of activities, however the rooms were a shocker I wasn't a fan of a bedroom directly opposite the kitchen. The signal isn't Very poor And there's no WiFi so none of the streaming services work.
The kitchen and bathroom could do with an upgrade.
Please beware of the monkeys they snatch stuff right out Your hands lol!
We had no hot water for the entire weekend so ended up leaving a day earlier. Trying to get hold of a manager on duty via their reception is impossible and when they finally did send someone out they never fixed the problem. They apparently turned the urned geyser on but all it did was leak.
How do you expect your guests to enjoy a weekend when there is no hot water?
I thoroughly enjoyed myself here. Booked for a week and after the weekend they sent security to throw us out because we only booked for a week, untrue, this was communicated with them a week before even checking in. Poor communication skills by staff.
Rooms are as average as they come,
However the amenities are great and the staff are friendly and welcoming.
A very family friendly environment, beautiful surroundings, so much entertainment for young and young at heart very efficient friendly, staff, Warren, lucky n all the wonderful mount amanzi crew, thank you for making our weekend such a memorable one. God bless be safe. Will definitely see the omar, Hashim, and gani families again, God willing.
Our stay was wonderful. Rooms nicely furnished. Aircon free, other than Dikololo. Chalets neat and situated under treea and growth.
Staff friendly and helpful. Sufficient swimming pools, and spa under Lapa.
Excellent service. Clean chalets. Beautiful gardens, well looked after. What a pleasure to go there. Will definitely recommend to friends and family
Resort is crowded and the units small. But the facilities are well maintained and the gardens beautiful.
Great resort! Chalets in perfect condition. Lots to do. The restaurant food is excellent. The only negative is the monkeys that is becoming more and more aggressive.
It was nice place, nice atmosphere. I was just disappointed by breakfast there is no breakfast is self catering.
This place doesn't get enough credit for how pleasantly amazing it actually is. From the first time I saw this place I knew that my time here would be above expectations, and I wasn't wrong.
Great place to getaway for the weekend with the family. Lots of entertainment for the kids and a quick drive from Johannesburg.
Friendly receptionist and welcoming. Know every details and explain clearly to the point. Including security.
They can place dustbins more strategically. Unfortunately there are people that are too lazy to walk and then just dump their rubbish.
Booked a romantic dinner for 2 and told them it was for newly weds, wow they gave us our own table seating upstairs at the Old Kitchen restaurant, and they laid the table just for us with flowers and special table cloths. Glen was our host and he made the evening spectacular. Ill definitely go back again!
Great food
Great sevice
Amazing views of the Haartbeesport mountains!
