Die Mas

Just stayed in the caravan park for one night and never got a chance to visit the winery or restaurant. Very clean and neat camp site with lovely private ablutions. Sitting on the banks of the Orange River with a Scotch and fire burning.could have stayed a lot longer. Will be back.

Very poor service. Sat for 20 minutes on their veranda. Beautiful scenery spoilt by fact that we were totaly ignored by the waitrons. Up and left and won't be back

Beautiful and quiet campsite, very neat ablutions, hot water, electricity points, very good food in the restaurant. Very very friendly owners and staff. 100% Recommended to any one who travel to Kakamas or surroundings and looking for a neat and safe campsite.

Great brandy BUT. I ordered 2 bottles of brandy and on the way one broke. It took 2 weeks and many phone calls later for the one that didn't break to come. It's now more than a month later and I still haven't gotten a refund for the broken bottel. Not sure if I'll actually get it.

If you want to try the brandy, rather order it from a retailer than the factory - you might just lose your money.

We have experienced the best day ever at this beautiful vine yard restaurant, I’ve wanted to propose and unfortunately did not have the time to pre arrange with anyone about this since my fiancé made all the arrangements as to where, when and how. They already had a kids party going and was extremely busy. We really enjoyed the wine tasting as even with all the kids it was still a very calm and relaxing vibe to the restaurant outlooking the vine yards. In a matter of 2 and half hours they have prepared the PERFECT spot for us and surly made it a day to always be cherished. Thank you so so much! We even went back after our day adventure for dinner and there food was mouth watering.

It’s a shame that such a beautiful place has such terrible service. We had to ask for assistance and the tables weren’t cleaned properly when asked.

Really good brandy for a brand not well known, the brandy and Gin tasting is very good and they have a few chalets as accommodation when we were there.

Appalling experience the drinks took 35 minutes to be brought and the food took more than an hour

Love this place, cheap for wine, Gin and Brandy tasting, I will recommend this place, any time for friends & family. Beautiful.

I found the wine tasting to be a poor show, no palate cleanser offered for between wines and really didn't enjoy the wines that I tasted.

Very interesting wines. Good pricing. Great view over the river. Enjoyed the visit. A visit is recommended if in the area.

Fantasiese kos, mooi uitsig. Ongelukkig die swakste diens wat ons nog ooit beleef het, geen waiter, moes ons eie drinkgoed gaan haal en die betaal van ons rekening was chaos, sal nie aanbeveel tensy jy lank wil sit nie.

Fantasties! Wyn en gin tasting gedoen. Uit die boeke. Regte plaasmense met lekker gesels en lekker kos en goeie diens. Dit was heerlik!

Beautiful views with smooth brandy and refreshing gin. They also have a selection of jam, chutney, olive oils, etc. The staff are very friendly. And you get to park under vines. If you're ever in the area, make sure you visit Die Mas van Kakamas.

We had a lovely time in October, tasting gin and wine and enjoying a pleasant encounter with the staff. You are the best!

Sadly I only made a quick stop this time around but a visit to Die Mas is always and absolutely recommended. Got great service and advice from Randy. Love my purchases Next time I will hopefully get to eat there

We arrived to a great scenery of beautiful Winelands and nature. Pizza was nice but was not one of us enjoyed the wines. Brandy was amazing and also love the gin. Overall a great experience

Lovely place, beautiful setting! Lady serving the gin, brandy and wine tasting wasn't very helpful but the lady serving the food was attentive.

Good place. Some of the customers are racist but the actual staff are amazing and the owner is great. Great food and drinks priced well. There is this waiter called Onwards that is just amazing and so knowledgeable.
