As Greek as It Gets Cullinan reviews
42Me and my wife went and ate the Seafood Platter for 2.very nice atmosphere in Cullinan on Sundays and enjoyd this restaurant a lot
Food is excellent! The service from a guy in brown clothes was a bit sketch, since he would argue continuously against what we as clients request and appeared to be either absent in mind and/or on some or other substance. The prices are also exorbitantly high! I remember the restaurant from 10 years ago; 2013. Although the place had been revamped grom the old style, the sectioned off areas, left and within the canvassed-off part, rob the place from its atmosphere.
Wet paint on chairs, our clothes are wrecked. Management didn't care as he was busy getting a foot massage.
Slow service, full Saturday with only two servers. Seriously under staffed. Food was clearly microwaved. Would not recommend.: (
We stopped in for a lunch and enjoyed our experience, their food, service and pricing is excellent
Good food, nice range of dishes on the menu. Friendly waiter that ensured all the busy tables were well looked after. Very rustic Greek feel to the venue, and busy to match.
Nice setting, but I didn't like that the menu wasn't as variant of foods as I expected it to be. Some of the items on the menu are ridiculously expensive but the food tastes really good.
Checked in for a breakfast on Christmas morning with our family, before driving through, 100km, to get told after ordering coffee that they cannot serve breakfast after 11.i said but we arrived at 10h30, just to watch an omelette being served to the table next to us, when i asked the waiter about it he went away and came back to tell us they ran out of breakfast "stuff "so i said but you opened a half hour ago there are not many people here and this service is unacceptable, he went away again and came back to ask me will we stay if they do serve us with breakfast.so i said no thanks just bring our bill for the coffee. The manager never came out to explain anything, very bad experience, will never go back again.needless to say our Christmas day was spoiled!
Great food and atmosphere but the old man that sits shouting out orders all the time really spoils the atmosphere. It’s our 3rd time visiting so we thought maybe it was just a once off thing but seems to be the norm. Don’t think we will visit again.
No better way to start the weekend and the holiday season! Spoil yourself to an amazing authentic Greek meal. You will not be disappointed!
Well, didn't really hate it.
On one of the busiest holiday long weekends it was closed. No notice of this anywhere on any media.
Annoying if you had planned to go there.
We had a very sub standard Kleftico (lamb) which was totally over priced and very tough. 3 cokes, a salad and 1 portion of lamb cost over R450. Sadly not the quality that I remember from years ago.
Food is good owner is missrable sit and shout orders from the back to staff not very pleasant. Will not go back
The food and the service was really very nice! Their potato wedges are truly a must to try! The theme and atmosphere is mediterrainian. Very nice seafood dishes. Very friendly staff.
We have been visiting this restaurant for the lat 10 years. The food is still excellent. There is only a view restaurant that can take you on this taste sensation journey.
Thank you. We had a lovely Sunday lunch.
We went for an early lunch and lucky to because it gets Really busy. We shared a meze platter. The food was excellent and service and the food very quick. Nice vibe too. The Mezze platter includes a salad an dips and pita.
Tasty food. But unfortunately they are violating smoking regulations. Made lunch very unpleasant. Expensive Greek salad at R95!
I had lunch there yesterday and it was fabulous. The food was devine. I am a rep and come past on a monthly basis. They will definitely see me again.
The restaurant is very shabby and in dire need of maintenance!
The toilets are shocking! Instructions written on scraps of paper.
Walking through the restaurant, rusty pipes are visible not giving an appealing aesthetic appearance.
The food was great but service very slow.
Only two waiters for a busy Saturday lunch.
It's not always about the food, the owner needs to look at the general appearance of his restaurant.
Lost another customer.
We are looking for a restaurant to visit whilst in Cullinan. I am absolutely amazed at this restaurant owner's responses to these reviews. It appears that she just cannot control her tongue!
She should consider writing a book: "How to destroy your own business! "
We can't wait to visit the Italian restaurant Piacere Ristorante and Cocopan Coffee shop.
