Great tasting Indian food. The Friday biryani special is absolutely worth every Rand for just R35.

Their boti masala is yummy beyond words.

HEALTH HAZARD ALERT! Be careful when ordering food from this restaurant. I have experienced this twice now. The first time I found a staple in my food was when I ordered through uber eats. I complained through uber eats and went to the restaurant and told them and they blamed the delivery guy. The only reason I went back was because my grandmother recommended it. It appears they didn't even listen to me because once again, I found metal in my food. This is ridiculous, I will never go there again. Everybody beware! Check your food if you choose to buy from this place. I was very lucky that on both occasions, I noticed the metal in my mouth before swallowing. And to top it off the guy at the counter was rude to me be because there was some confusion about the order, but I was helping my blind friend order. The guy didn't even have the decency to notice that.

I chose to dine in. And the food was absolutely amazing and authentic. I enjoyed EVERY bite. And it was really affordable. The service too was amazing. 10 out of 10. I would definitely recommend this place. What an amazing experience.

I ordered a delivery via UBER eats on the 7th of July 2022. The order was delivered with one item short and one of the items damaged due to it being packaged in a too hot a package that was not suitable for the food. The meal was damaged.

I called Bismillah Melville and immediately informed them of this. The person answering the phone said they could not resend the order but when I ordered again they would replace the items.

Today Saturday the 9th of July 2022 I was in the area and informed them that I was in the area and that I could pick the food items up. I was told they would call me back but before committing to this I was treated disrespectfully by the person on the phone. They never called me back.

I went to Bismillah Mellville 45min ago to see if I could remedy this. Again I was met with rudeness and disrespect:
I was told I must make sure the order is right next time.
Amongst being treated as if I had caused their service failures.

What I horrible experience.

The food is pretty avarage to be honest and the value for money not great at all. Paid extra for the "extra chicken" option which ended up being more sauce than chicken.
The bunny chow was dry and the bread stale. None of the curry dishes came with rice.

If you looking for best indian food, this is the place to go. The food is amazing and the staff is friendly

Have been using Bismillah Melville now for quite some time both for sit down and take-away meals. Service is good and food is even better. Keep up the great work. May Allah bless your business abundantly.

Been a customer since about 10 years ago. Never ever had any kind of issue ever. Food is great as well and well seated for any amount of people. Great place for the family.

Food was exceptional, bursting with flavour. Service was excellent. Place was neat & clean.

The food here is always disappointing and tasteless. Todays purchase. R97 for 1/8th piece of chicken in a sauce that i had to add ginger, garlic, chilli and spices to. They can't be serious!

I cannot recommend this restaurant any longer. Absolutely disgusting experiences. Very unhygienic and poor food safety.

Butter chicken, hot baby chicken and 2 garlic naan.my usual 2 dishes that never disappoints when I have the craving. Shame while I waited for my takeaway, they offered me some lovely dates to eat the one evening when they broke their fast.it was a kind gesture that I appreciated.

The food is usually quite well prepared and tasty, but the last couple of times the food (mixed grill) was rather dry and unappetising. Most of it was wasted, it was so unpalatable. I suspect due to its growing popularity the food is bulk prepared and left to dry in a warmer. I will have to revert to branded fast food on the weekend once again at least the standard is consistent. It's really unfortunate.

Excellent food. Based in a beautiful old house in Melville, but the atmosphere is a little “cold”. Mask signs are seemingly not for staff/management.

I ordered the butter chicken and it was not butter chicken curry. It was chicken in bright yellow butter sauce. Completely inedible

Amazing! As usual, kids enjoyed butter chicken, hubby Tikka chicken and I loved the mutton curry in the bone with extra meat. Yummy!

Food can be great at times. Quality is a little inconsistent. And phone etiquette can definitely be improved as it can be difficult placing an order due to language differences.

This place is loosing its touch and customer service.
There's a waiter by the name of Nanabai that don't know how to treat customers. He has a rude way of speaking.
