Doppio Zero Bryanston

Always great food and have awesome waiters and waitresses. The only problem is the staff changes shift at 2 pm so you have to pay your bill before you have finished your meal. It has happened three times in the last few months. Apart from this small inconvenience, I would highly recommend this Doppio Zero

Honestly had a horrible experience from how long things took, to the fact that the waiters swapped shifts and I wasn’t informed sitting there confused and to closing off with being sworn at by the waiter.

Service consistently getting worse every time I get food here. So many waiters but the wait is so long. Today even the food was horrible.

We were seated quickly by a person from the restaurant, but it took a while for the waitress to come and take our order. A few minutes later, she returned and informed us that the soup was unavailable. She dropped the menu and almost ran to attend to a new customer who had just walked in.
I ordered a lamb shank, while my partner had pasta instead of the soup. When our food finally arrived, the server brought us complimentary bread, mentioning that it was for the pasta, although this was not the usual practice. Also making it seem as if she is giving us something extra due to do soup. Unfortunately, certain portions of the lamb shank were tough and dry, making it difficult to cut and enjoy. I ended up not finishing my meal as it was disappointing.
When the waitress inquired if there was a problem with the food, I mentioned that it was dry and tough. She conveyed this feedback to the on-duty manager, who, regrettably, appeared indifferent and dismissed our concerns with a careless attitude.

Glum service, inconsistent food. I used to go for gnocchi fairly often, the service was tolerable until I was served gnocchi that was so stale it was actually crunchy.

Edited my review to 1 star because of the copy-pasta response from the business. I'm not interested.

Food is excellent and well prepared. The servers are friendly and attentive. However the food can often take a while to come out. We waited around 1 hour before our food arrived at the table. So you can expect to wait if you go on a weekend afternoon.

Good location. Good variety of baked cakes and niblets. Service was good and well executed. Coffee is okay. Will be good to visit again.

Great place barring the noise. For some reasons certain places are much noiser them other even whith similar amount of patrons. The drafts on offer are only 3, which might be all right for the winter, bit definitely not enough for the winter. Takos are very tasty, but chips was not fried properly. I will definitely give it another try.

I used to be a big fan of Junipa's, the quant bakery and coffee shop that originally occupied this space. It is my pleasure to say that new Dopio has really made the most of the place. Being a chain, there is always a fear that the spot will lose personality, but they have opened up the restaurant, giving it an airy feel whilst still holding on to its roots.
The food is marvelous. The staff are top-notch. And the management ask too many questions when you take too many photographs. Whoops.
The absolute only issue is that sitting inside on a busy day can get super loud as sound echoes off the walls.

I was invited to lunch today at this restaurant. I arrived early and chose an outside shaded table.service was prompt and friendly, I browsed thru menu while waiting for my host. The cider roasted pork belly caught my eye and blinded me to anything else on the menu.well well.let me not disappoint you.nor did the meal.if i could give it 7 stars i would.delicious succulent, tasty.my only complaint, I needed seconds plus another helping to take home, that is how good it was. My host chose a delicious looking smoked salmon salad.looked wonderful but took a second place to my choice.well done to everyone from start to finish.

Doppio Zero Braysnton is my go to place on the weekends, the food is amazing, the people are amazing and it has a very relaxing atmosphere with a family vibe trickling throughout.the layout is bright and airy with a slight vintage, French genre throughout.

We had two great experiences here - one for a Friday night drinks and dinner and the other for a stunning Sunday morning breakfast.

The waiters were very helpful and attentive. Our food was also perfect, just as we ordered it and really tasty.

Lovely atmosphere and beautiful decor, really a great vibe and great overall experience.

Great experience.took a supplier to lunch and was very impressed. The staff were on the ball, management were attentive without being overbearing, food was fantastic - we both had the Soul Bowl which was very tasty.

A great addition to the area. Managements involvement take this great franchise and add a flagship to their fleet. Awesome food, awesome service and a definite place to visit often

Very average.waiter was excellent.kitchen staff not up to scratch. Manager very dismissive of the fact we waited 1hr for a burger. Full of excuses.wont be there again!

A more sophisticated version than the other DZ franchises I've been to. Food (dinner) was very pleasant as well as the decor. The service was the standout.

Loved the food, Alfredo is a definite must. My friends said anything on your menu is devine. Loved the atmosphere and what fantastic service and management you have. Well done!

Very good food, all 6 of us enjoyed our meals. Service from Andile was excellent. Two of us ordered Five Roses tea but we're given rooibos - the mistake was corrected immediately. Would go back again.

The staff was attentive and friendly. The food up to par as usual, I ordered the pork belly. Real value for money. I walked away a happy customer. Can definitely recommend the branch!
