We had a wonderful time and we were accommodated by the friendly staff, owners and waitress with split bills and all requests that was asked for.

Food was woderfull an freshly prepared. And prices are very reasonable for this time of the year.

Lovely venue. So many different places to relax. Great menu and generous portions. A bit of a wait for food to arrive.

The Dros is a big family restaurant that boast a variety of eating halls and a bar area where you can also sit down for a pub lunch. Lots of safe parking available an clean ablution fascilities. The waiters are friendly and the service is good. The restaurant have a festive and vibrant atmosphere. Ideal for families, birtday, or other celebration but also provides for those looking for a romantic dinner for two people.

Service was very slow, often called waitress and she ignored us, no name badges or introduction to know who is who, our drinks and food took some time, menus were left on the table the whole time, could've been better.

Food was good, service good, menu's weren't sanitized and two dirty beer glasses sat across us through out our meal.

Had a great time, even while having a live show the service was still good, and the food was great! Dont know why we dont go more often it's such a lekker place!

Service was great. Great staff. Never got to a meal. Load shedding is the pits. Was hoping for the Eishbein. Messages to Management to put alternate options solar, generator, etc. People go to eat. Load shedding is here to stay.

This branch is more of a bar than a family restaurant. My kids who are still in primary found it too dark and uncomfortable previously and this time we went with my husband. I had steak and ribs, steak was perfect medium to well done the meat of the ribs fell off the bone but had no taste. The basting sauce was nonexistent. I think they should brighten up some sections a bit unless they like the idea of it looking like a bar.

Absolutely horrible! Wish I could do a zero star. My wife's stake was so salty that she could not eat it! My kids toys went missing giving it to the child minder and the waitress went looking for it with a excuse? We ended up giving the entire take away to the staff and was still charged the full bill as we were put off by the disgusting service. We still gave the waitress a tip of R100 and was told to leave laughing behind our backs in front of my kids and wife.

Reception and service was good. Food freshly prepared and all covid-19 protocols adhered to. Not too crowded or noisy, which is a good thing.

Food is excellent, just miss the Music on a Friday night and this whole Covid situation is stifling this business due to no Alcohol allowed in lock down level 1.

The service is pretty friendly and efficient but they are thieves and charge your card more than the amount that you write on the bill including the tip. Zero vibe, the place was completely empty. The worst eisbein I have ever had in my entire life as well as the most disgusting apple sauce in the world to accompany it. I am not surprised we were the only people in the restaurant, this is the worst restaurant I've ever been to and does not deserve to still be in business especially stealing from their customers.

Great place for breakfast, lunch or just even after work drinks.nice vibe with lots of seating.also sometimes have live music tuere which gives a great vibe

The service is horrible. You have to request what you need including pack your own takeaway and on top of that your request is usually a double request because they tell you they are coming "now" and then don't come. Time to go ask for my bill agaaaiiin.

Can highly recommend The Dros in Alberton, the food is delicious, plenty of choice. Service is 5 star, especially waitresses Melanie and Giddo did an amazing job on serving 16 people. Thank you to management for your assistance with our function. Will most definitely eat there again.

We ordered take aways through Mr Delivery yesterday and ordered sirloin steaks with chips and onion rings. We got rump steak that was overdone and hardly any chips and onion rings. I think they throw anything at Mr Delivery clients.

We ordered burgers about 2 weeks ago and and the rolls were super stale and won't be ordering anything from Dros again. The food is expensive for what you get.

Food was good, seafood platter was delicious. Service was a bit slower than usual but overall good evening with family!

Pleasantry surprised as have not been a fan of Dros due to previous experiences but this was a definite improvement. The specials are particularly good. Will definitely go back.

Me and my daughter enjoyed our lunch so much and the waitress was so helpful and friendly the meal was absolutely magnificent it was perfect
