Dros Restaurant Kempton Park

Manager is rude. Half of the menu had missing pages. Tables are all dirty. Won't go into much detail, but just drank drinks and left instead of ordering food like we wanted to. Won't be returning. Waiters are not bad, but don't show much interest.

The Dros has always been a tradional restaurant and this one is no exception. Pleasant surroundings and really attentive staff.

Absolutely disguisted. Over and above the food being severely over priced and below standard. My son had to go and call a waitron to take our drinks order.
The bathrooms are absolutely and totally horrifying. None of the toilet doors lock and are occupied by bored staff abusing the free wifi. Toilets are dirty and there are flies everywhere. The baby changing room was even worse, when we arrived, I attempted to change my child but found dirty underwear and the toilet covered in filth, the smell was second to none. Almost 2hrs later, nothing had been done. I complained to a waiter, as a manager was nowhere to be seen, course of action was to move the changing trolley out of the change room into the ladies bathroom, still it remained filthy.by now my child was screaming after the failed attempt of changing her in the equally gross ladies bathroom.
They do not offer soda fountain coldrinks, instead you have to pay premium per small can or ceres juice at almost R20 per 200mls. Child minder (only one) blamed my older child for my baby getting hurt albeit there were only approximately 15 (to one minder) on the play ground. What a disgrace.

Typical Dros. Neat. Tidy. Friendly. Great service. Great food. Great ambience. Very relaxing atmosphere. Always a safe choice!

Very family friendly, amazing outdoor kids play area, indoor one however could do with a little bit of work. Service is great, fast and friendly.

Management it is strange when i read the reviews that you comment on the possitive critisism and not on the negative. Today was my second time in a row that i was not happy at all. The first time was just burgers. Patties burnt. On complaoning it was just an appology. I left it at that. Today after the worldcup final i said to my wife that we must go and eat at the dros. We ordered. Another couple xame in with their kids 15 minutes after we ordered. After some time we saw another waiter delivering the same order our kids ordered to the other couples table. Ten minutes later i asked another waiter to check on our kids food because this was now 25 minutes after we ordered. He then came with their food but still not mme abd my wife, s. 10 minutes later myswlf and my wifes food came.ice cold and the cheese looks all oily from standing for some time. My wife called the manager. He apologised and said they will make new stakes. Not 5 minutes later the waiter came back with the same plates. Food still cold. The manager came and ask us if it was better. I said no it looked like they just troed to warm it up im a microwave. He replied that that they heat it up in a oven. So first of all they didnt redo my order and secondly it was still cold and the steak was tough. So R160 s pop it is shocking. We didnt eat a quarter of our meals it was so bad. Not a appology from the manager and full pricw paid. I never complain my wife usually does.but i am fed up paying large ammounts od money dor pathetic service and foos. Dros i will nevee visit you again.

The service was excellent. Our waitress, Gertrude, put in a lot of effort to make sure that we had a lovely afternoon. The food was quick to come to the table and the prices are very reasonable. The food portions are generous and tasty. A relaxed atmosphere and attentive staff.

Been there a few times, great big place. I think management tries to deliver good service i just cant say its always the case. I prefer to go to spur where I can expect better, faster and more friendlier service

No breakfast really this is so not on. The waiter was so slow with the coffee we left and he most probably did not notice 45 min for coffee really bad.

Went there on friday afternoon.
Well little did I know that they had platters and even pizza.
Not being a regular but a visitor showed me their service and i can highly recommend them.
Make sure you try out their wine section.

Thumbs up to dros kempton for great service, we heard great breakfast with my friends and family, keep up the standard, the manager on duty was helpfull as well as the two male waiters. Definetly we are coming back for great service. KEEP THE GOOD STANDARD

Went there to celibrate the lufe of a friend that passed on ladt week. Staff very polite and pleasant. Food prepared was tasty and plentuful.

Family friendly, waiters and waitresses keep an eye out for the kids in the play area.

Breakfast special has been scaled down with less food, probably to keep the price down.

The service was good but the food not so much. I did talk to the manager and they did prepare new portions. They need to look at something for the chef to improve his skills.

We used to get amazing pizza from them, but sadly had a bad experience in December.

Food: Steak was well-done instead of the requested med-rare. They did however replace the steak but was still overcooked (med-well done) Salad was underwhelming: a lot of lettuce and onions but only 2 pieces of cucumber and tomato.

Drinks: The cappuccino tasted like the coffee machine needed a service. (Ground taste?) Mould on lemonslice in water.

Won't be going back until under better/new management.
