58If i could rate this zero I would. What a waste of time and avoid the guys outside if you want to spare yourself the pain worst dltc I've ever been to
STAY AWAY. LOTS OF CRIMINAL ACTIVITY.
THIS LOCATION DOES NOT DO LICENSE DISC RENEWALS.
DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THE PARKING PEOPLE WHO CLAIM TO HAVE CONNECTIONS INSIDE AND CAN FAST TRACK YOU INTO THE QUEUE OR ASKS FOR CASH.
Do NOT trust the people outside saying that the license disc renewal service is done there, rather go to the post office or JMPD offices.
There are working POS machines inside, do not believe anyone who says they take cash inside because there were Nigerian scamming and that's why they reverted back to cash. All DLTCs have POS machines.
Please note that the people's at the entrance gates say that they want to help you with renewals of drivers licenses and other related services BE AWARE THE STEEL YOUR MONE THEY ARE SCAMSTERS LOOKING FOR A QUICK BUCK
Never ever come here for drivers test. Scammers and criminals approach you and run this place according to newspaper reports. Poor service too and very slow

Attention to: Mpho Masoek. Your security needs improvement! It is on your premises which means your responsibility. I will never go there ever again due to that!
Don't trust any person outside of the building as they are all scammers and wil rob you of your money. Tragic that there is nothing you can do after being scammed. And officials can't prevent these scammers from being on the property. There are working speed point don't be scammed go in
Went there to renew my driver’s license. Well organized. Whole Process took 1 hour and 45 minutes. Seated while waiting except for the cashier queue which took 30 minutes. Many dodgy characters outside. Rather park inside “ Customer parking”. Safe and guarded there.
I went here for motorcycle drivers test on the 8th of April.
I was surprised with the good service I got from the guard at the gate till David that assessed me.
But I prayed a lot before the test for fair treatment and this was evidence for me that prayers do get answered
Be prepared to wait 4 hours, even if you have a booked time slot, get there as early as possible!
Long queues, appointment booking system obviously not working.
Especially in times of COVID one would think they would make an extra effort to organise things better.
Unfortunately time is meaningless. Supposed to open at 07h30. It is now 08h15 and still closed.
They don't even open at 7: 30, its 8: 10 and they are still not open.a person has to book your appointment and adhere to being early but this department cannot even be punctual theirselves. You see how the workers only start pulling in for work at 8: 00 while we have all been standing here from 7: 30 they should change their working hours to 9: 00 because that is the time it looks like they only open.
They only open at 8: 30 not 7: 30 and the first person was only helped at 9: 00.
Too many scammers outside be wary of them they'll tell you they've got someone inside to help you, while the person calling you is in one of the cars outside. Please don't allow any help from them. Just go inside and do your thing
I did the booking online on the Natis system, slots get taken quickly - so you constantly need to refresh the page to check for availability. Bring with you booking confirmation and photos. Be on the lookout for people outside the premises, most of them are crooks and scammers. The renewal of the the driving license was so quick and efficient, the only problem was that they have moved from accepting cash to using speedpoint machines. The machines were forever offline and that caused delays.
Card collection after 8 weeks was a breeze, it took only 10 minutes. Staff members were professional and efficient.
All I can say, these guys should go to Randfontein to get propper training in being friendly, helpfull and professional. After sitting in a queue waiting for the one lady to do our renewal checking with a online appointment, the lady got up and left all off us with the green papers and left. The people with blue papers were sitting on our right and had two people attending to them. After about 15min a guy approached us and said that our lady had to go to a meeting.we must go to the other side in abother building. There we were told to go back because the place was to small. A lady walked in starting with us. Another lady walks in with a guy with, like us with a green paper, took him into the front off the blue paper line. Pushing him in obviously. I had to re book because I couldn't wait any longer.
Went to renew my drivers Licence and spent 2 hours standing in a queue to make the payment! No regard for pensioners! The booking of an appointment means nothing!
This is not a review of the Florida DLTC itself (which should also get a one star rating) but rather as a warning to other people that use this DLTC in the future, NOT to trust any of the guys hanging around outside the centre. They are fraudsters and scammers claiming that they have someone on the inside that can get what you need. Do not trust any of them! The centre is still closed due to lockdown. Wish the JMPD would do something to clean up these scoundrels. DON'T BE SCAMMED!
After a zero star experience at Midrand DLTC, I can give Florida DLTC 5 stars! I was in and out within 25 minutes. The staff is not overly friendly, but they do their job and the machines work. The place is clean and organized with lots of sanitizer points. There's a few dodgy characters outside the gate, but once I was inside the parking I felt safe.
My son did his Drivers test today. Rude and obnoxious people doing the testing. My son asked for clarity on where he was driving to, and was told he should have listened. Asked if he must tum at this robot, was told, "well do you see any other robots? " A Geldenhuys was the instructor /tester, could really do with some manners. Lectured my son, told him he does not know the rules of the road, and his Driving school was "useless". TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE
