I got an excellent service from Ali and the Team. I ordered building material and I got my delivery before the scheduled date.
It was a pleasure shopping at Carrim Atterbury.

Was awesome, they got cheap stuff, great saving. Carrim is a perfect hardware today with this struggling economy.

When we renovated our house we went to Carrim tiles and we were not disappointed. Tommy from Carrim helped us every step of the way and almost became a friend through his great personal service. He would even phone from his personal cellphone to follow up on service delivery. Sadly he passed away but i believe Carrim is still in good sales person hands. Have never had a bad experience with Carrim.

Their prices are lower compared to their competitors, I was shopping around for baths, toilets, basins etc, I saved greatly at Carrim

Very competitive prices, cater for all your building requirements, great service, my absolute favourite place for building materials by far!

Very good customer service and even though it's not as big as builders or Chamberlains you can stil get most of your building and DIY supplies there and I have found some very good specials there. I have been there a lot and continue to go there. The plus side also with it not being so big is that it's not so busy so they can give more attention to their customers, something that is seriously lacking in some of the bigger stores.

K. Carrim has a lovely variety of modern tiles and sanitary, and best of all, affordable.

Sure you could buy more premium product at places like Lifetyle but of course at 3 times the price.

Service is also really good.

Why only 3 stars?

Well, there was an employee there not wearing his mask, which I don't approve of.

It actually deserves 2 stars only. The shop is extremely badly layed out and you are hardly able to find anything. Help is nowhere to be found and when you do, it's out of stock. I only visit here out of necessity.

At the builders side I did not get much joy, but at the bathroom and tiles side I God good service.

I received terrible service from carrim atturbury.
I ordered a door and window with measurements. Today I have a window that is 300mm bigger and a door with mirrors in stead of frosted glass.
I AM EXTREMELY UNHAPPY. JUST GO TO CHAMBERLAINS OR BUILDERS WAREHOUSE. It might be a bit more but It is worth it! Charging 2x for delivery is also uneacceptable for a mistake made by Ali and not myself.

Your reviews are bad and you are expensive. You ask for 2 hose clamps R 25 something. I just bought the same clamps and payed R 22.90 for 4 clamps at Chamberlains. So you won't ever see me again.

Whatever you save on price you WILL pay for in time.this has been proven to me over and over and over again. I bought a solar geyser there just last week, and they supplied the incorrect bracket. After sending them photos they confirmed they made a mistake and asked me to come in to store to return & collect the correct one. I asked them to please get the correct bracket ready for me so that I can come and swap, but they refused to get this ready for me prior to my arrival, and made it clear that I had to come in, Bring the old bracket, they would inspect and ensure my receipt is in order, and after all this will they only fetch the correct bracket. This is the 5th example of how good they are at wasting their client's time I've personally had. I am forced to pay for their mistake with my time. If you have plenty of time on your hands this is the best place to go, they will make you wait and waste as much of your time as possible. Spent and hour there on Saturday to get a hand full of plumbing fittings, once again because of their mistakes, would much rather pay a bit more at Mica and spend an extra 45mins with my family on a Saturday morning.

No customer service, at all, they love to pass the bucket and not to assist a client.
2x we had to wait for them to deliver online orders.
Both times it end up in fights to get our products on site.very quick to take your money but have constant excuses for deliver products on time are schedule time.

Will not recommend this company at all.
