I always go here with family for Saturday lunches and whenever I fell like me time just to have two drinks as it is close to home.

The food is delicious, service was good, very chilled and calm during the day and a great turn up at night

Very nice vibe but the SJ kept playing the same songs over and over and it really got very boring. My friends and I ended up leaving before it was even closing time and we don't usually do that. The hubly should be stocked more. It's a very nice thing to have while sipping on a soft drink, but having to wait for over an hour is not on.

I went there last night, nice music good people Zen vibe we really had fun, not sure what time they close but I left there around past 1am, sorry I didn't take pictures, it's situated +-500m from Makro woodmead

The music was good but too loud as we were dining we could not have a conversation as we could not hear ourselves against the loud music. We had to move and eat outside and it was a bit chilled. If we wanted loud musoc we'd have gone to a club or something. I go to NewsCafe to dine and chat with whoever I'm with but your loud music cayers for people who want to dance the night away.

This place is popping! Only worry is when they start playing music really loud while we're talking. We can't even hear ourselves think. If they can just move the turn up schedule by just an hour late, it'll be perfect

The cleanest, freshest News Cafe in the country. A great place for afternoon drinks and food. My home away from home. Free wifi makes thisa great place for work-related meetings

Not your classic nicest usually known NewsCaf in Jozi, have stopped going to the place every saterday. Not Vibey anymore #BringBAckTheViBeAndGoodQualityMusiq

Fantastic chill out, you get everything you need, i.e food, alcoholic beverages drinks, soft drinks, wine, whiskey, cognac etc. The service is also wonderful as the waiters and waitresses net let you run out of your desired orders. I wouldn't mind spending most of weekends here.

Very nice set up. Can get very busy in the evenings especially on weekends. The vibe is very nice in the evenings. They make a very good eggs Benedict.very relaxed if you are there for breakfast and lunch. There are also many good branches all over johannesburg and I would personally recommend this place. If it's for food or just for drinks.

Place had some vibe last year mostly if not all saterdays been there and one could feel is out turning up. These weekends, dj system very bad and sound like a tavern.same with musiq

Food was bland sent it back twice, mocktails where watery no garnish, and it was during the day so I don't know why the service was slow and waiters are standing by the door?

Nice chilled place. Food was great. And although service is friendly, it's a little slow. But great place for business breakfast or business drinks.

What ever you want.if a bowl mix of healty food e.g satay chicken breast, rice noodles, roast squash and fresh avocado alongside quick bites like deep fried macaroni and cheese, spiced and marinated lamb riblets.pina colada served on a breezy balcony to enjoy a warm summer day.life is good
