Good Portuguese food. It’s very authentic. The staff are kind and the owners are Portuguese. Good place to take the family.

Again, our experience was top class. Please try the Pecanha steak, you will not be disappointed. Naturally, the sea food platter is out of this world with generous portions and garlic butter. The dessert was very enjoyable. The waitress understood our orders and is experienced in dealing with patrons. The owners are in attendance and are friendly. Safe parking is appreciated.

Best Portuguese restaurant in Joburg. The codfish was a bit dry, please work on that. Everything else is perfect!

We've been to Braseiro twice now. Great experience both times. It has the feel of your local cosy restaurant with great food and the owners personally coming to your table to ensure you are happy. Second time we went was for a birthday and they served the birthday boy a piece of cake that was fit for a king, along with a few glasses of port. Lovely restaurant, awesome experience.

They serve Albany bread, chicken livers with no sauce, dry prawns with no flavour at all. Bland chicken despite that I asked for peri peri flavour. Worst outing ever and will never be back. The only decent thing was the waitress who provided good service.

The most awful “Portuguese” food I have ever had. The salad is something you can buy from a petrol station. The “fresh” fish is I&J according to the manager (and u can taste that it is!) who kept laughing at us once we complained and said it wasn’t very good. The Trinchado had no taste at all. It’s one thing for the food to be so bad, but for the manager Jorge to not even offer an apology or to replace a meal, is something I have never experienced. I’m surprised this restaurant is still going. Do not recommend at all! R600 was ridiculous for what we got!

Genuine Portuguese cuisine in a lively setting. Excellent food, quick service. Try the roast goat for something different and tasty.

Food was ok. For someone who understands Portuguese cuisine.i can say food was standard.

Service is good but the food is not good. Maybe the seafood is fine but definitely don’t order any meat dishes. Meat comes out dry and over cooked. Also don’t order vegetables. They are bitter. Overall this is not a place I would try again.

The food and the service were excellent.
It is really difficult to find a proper Portuguese place and this one is definitely worth it.

The seafood with rice had no flavour, the snails in garlic sauce was tastless.
They have mostly boiled food and vegetables, and one has to wait for hours for your food once ordered,
