Papachinos Boksburg

Papachinos is a fantastic family-friendly restaurant with a diverse menu. Their pizza and waffle station is a hit with kids, offering a fun DIY experience. The large playing area adds to the family-friendly vibe. The food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. However, be sure to book ahead for larger groups, as it fills up fast. Parking can be a bit challenging at times, so plan accordingly. Overall, a great place for a family outing!

I ate food from here that landed me in hospital ER! I’ve never had food poisoning like this before! It’s taken me 4 days to recover with excruciating pain. Worst restaurant experience ever! Never returning! When they’re full, they neglect all customer care and obviously they neglect food hygiene as well.

The venue is amazing, services was good, prices a very high and sorry, not worth it. Disappointed and left wanting.

Very busy place, would recommend booking a table but the food is amazing and the kids always have a blast! They are looked after at the play area as well. Lovely place for a Sunday lunch with kids!

To start off, the guy serving us held our drinks in his hands. He kept on telling us that they were closing, but he was services other tables next to ours, and it was three white lady's, of which I doubt he told. As my boyfriend and I were leaving, this other waitress said, " it's as if they don't know the closing time. We also want to go home. " Personally, I found that very rude cause we knew about their closing, and as we were leaving, they were still moping the floors.

It was my first time going there, and those were the things I was unhappy about, and I hope they do something about this and not just let it slide

This is our go to place for a wide variety of food and great service. No matter what you feel like, you will find something on the menu to that effect. And the food is delicious.

We always enjoy visiting you guys. But what is this nonsense that we are not allowed to share food? Not even pizza or platters. It sounds like greedyness to me.

We went there almost midday of the last day of the month and it was empty. It's in the evening where you have to either book or wait for a table. Sat on the balcony and we had such a beautiful view of everything below. It was sunny so they opened the umbrella for us. Got a our drinks a few minutes after we ordered them. Last I went the waiter opened the can in front of me and poured the drink for me, I was kind of looking forward to that, but it didn't happen this time. Our food came shortly after, my partner had the Alfredo pasta, and I had 250g of pork ribs with creamed spinach and chips. My partner was quite impressed with the Alfredo, very impressed. My ribs were perfectly done, and saucy. Papachinos staff is really kind, from your reception to when you leave. Washrooms are clean and well kept. So it the whole place. Chairs and table were already clean when we walked to them.

Lovely enviroment for all family members including kids. Various options on the menu to choose though quite pricey but worth it as the food is delish. You can also host kids birthday events as they have their own pizza making area to explore preparing their own pizzas and a lovely play area for them. The ambience is always warm with friendly and attention to detail staff. One thing that surprised me though was the service charge of R161 added to our bill as I have never experienced it before in any of the restaurants. I was told that it's a tip. Anyway, we paid it and more as the service was excellent.

I love the Papachinos experience. I really nice menu. The waiter was on point. The food was great. The atmosphere was nice. We all enjoyed out experience. Will be back again and again.

Was left waiting for assistance, they kept giving table to other people until I left the restaurant, worst service yet.

Great food. Friendly staff. I would just appreciate more child minders on a weekend. It's not fair to have only 2 child minders for a full restaurant on a friday evening

Went to Papachinos on Friday evening to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Was told that there is a 20min waiting time for a table which was not a problem. I requested a table inside in the non smoking section. Waiters kept on insisting that we should sit in the smoking section as there is an open table. Multiple times I declined and informed them that we are waiting for an open spot in the non smoking section. A couple that arrived 10min after us were seated in the non smoking section without an reservation. When I enquired as to how people arriving after us were being helped I got told that a table has been made available for us in the kiddies section. After this we decided to to go to a different restaurant.

No music, terrible service, even after asking the manager called Greg too pls turn the music a little louder, he refused, all of the people sat in an uncomfortable silence. We couldn't finish and leave fast enough. Dissapointed, won't bring my family or clients here again.

Amazing food with great service and kind staff. We are totally planning to go more often in future

Today's experience was better than all the other times i visited Papachinos, the lady serving us by the name of Bertha was so friendly, warm and welcome

Reception was great. Table Service poor due to waiter disappeared without notification. Had wait too long then request other waiters for assistance. We looked like lost couple, while waiting to place the second order. Ended up ordering Take away.

Lovely spot for a family outing. Great play area close to tables. Outdoor and indoor seating. Food is great and affordable. There's also a smoking area at the balcony.

The environment was spectacular and accommodating for children, the staff was warm and the food was on point. I really enjoyed my time there.
