Pronto Italian Restaurant

Racist people they thought i coudn't afford and couldn't give me a good table. The racism is bad and its the second time! Sies!

Not only is the Fiery Prawns pasta overpriced, but the pasta and the ingredients were swimming in oil. It was so drenched, I had to drained it myself. I thought I was ordering a quality meal spread from reading the reviews but was very disappointed.

This was one of my favourite restautants but my latest experience was HORRIBLE. Not to mention I fell ill the day after, but the food was of very poor quality. The cheese focacia (bianca) which is usually oozing with cheese had so little cheese on it. The portion of my pasta compared to my partner's was 1/3, not to mention the number of beef strips. There must have been a total of 6 in the entire pasta. I decided to try the peanut butter milkshake. It had no thickness, and had chocolate inside. I will not be going back. A real shame. I believe they have changed owners but I stand to be corrected.

My pizza base was burnt to a crisp and your lines were not available for me to get you to correct it. Inedible.

When you submit an order through uber eats they take about 25 minutes to let you know they didn't accept the order, so my pleasure, take your 1 star review.

Great food and restaurant if you're attending but their online ordering system is horrid - simply doesn't work. We've tried multiple times but simply a fail each time

12 mins later. Cold crosant and cold chesse just slapped together. Very disappointing when all you want to have is sumthing yummy and warm. Not the 1st time this is happening over there breakfast.

The place was just okay. It's quiet and has a "good summer" vibe feel to it. The service was good. I don't know if we missed something but the food was not something to write home about. It was decent though. The prosciutto and mozzarella starter was fine (the bread was really good). The mains were just okay (beef in spicy tomato sauce with linguine and beef spezzatino with mash and polenta). The experience just did not live up to our expectations.

A bit of a struggle to get service. Waitress was unattainable at times.

We've heard good things, but were actually disappointed. We kept being told that the food will arrive in 2 minutes, it's almost ready etc.and after the host of our group eventually got up and went to the back himself to check what's going on, we got our food an hour later. The restaurant wasn't even that busy due to lockdown restrictions. Everyone had to then gobble their meals down to leave and be home before curfew hits.
The lasagne that was ordered was evidently rushed because the lasagne sheets were undercooked and chewy, whilst the cheese on top was burnt.

Highlight was the peanut butter milkshake and foccacia bread starter.

I have been to Pronto on many occasions, and it is one of my favorites, and still is.
We booked for our year end Work lunch there, months ago, for 15pax, for 13h00.
We arrived and our waiter Moses was great, but our mains only arrived just before 16h00. (Not that they were placed at 15h45. I'd estimate they were placed by 14h00)
I understand there were other large tables where orders were possibly in before ours, but I feel that restaurant bookings should be accepted based on kitchen capacity.
I do not think a 2 hr wait for mains is acceptable.

So, I will be back for sure, as the food was great, as it always is, when it finally arrived, but definitely will not be with a big table.

Wondering service from start to finish.
It's a great restaurant, not my best for the selection of pasta.

2 out of three things I wanted were unavailable. No clams, no prosciutto.
I then wanted putanesca they didn't make it.

Service was absolutely perfect. I had a fantastic, very patient kind waiter.

Sauces are very tomato heavy, not light. We had the fettuccine Arrabiata and the spagetti meatballs.
But overall, it's good. There's just something I'm not sure of.

Very cool place to go an get some dinner with your family. Their spagetti/pasta meals are good I enjoyed the chorizo pasta. The place has potential to be great, they should play loud vibey music. Woule mostly definitly bring more people in.

Had some dinner with family. The place us well decorated and organized. The center is under construction but don't let that dissuade you from a visit. All the meals my table ordered were great with no complaints at all.

I really enjoyed there spaghetti and meatballs with mozzarella. Would love to go visit again and try a different dish. Italian food is always good food.

Unfortunately my previous good report on Pronto has to be amended because the service seems to have gone a little south.
Our last two meals at Pronto did not start off well.
After being seated at our table, we waited for over 10 minutes for service. I had to go and inform one of the "managers" that nobody had even bothered to come serve us with a drink.
Only after I had spoken to the manager did we suddenly receive attention.
The waiter who was assigned to our table tried his best to provide good service and he apologised for the bad start.
We also appreciated the "free salad" that was offered to us in lieu of the poor service. So cudo's to the management, however two incidents like this in a row, is not acceptable.

Delicious pasta dishes. Nice variety. Friendly and efficient service. Centrally located. Plenty of parking. Nice ambient atmosphere.

Another restaurant I had seen a couple of times, passed it thinking it was bogus but boy was I wrong. This is without a doubt a quality Italian restaurant with lovely redolent interior and nice outdoor seating. We had breakfast and it was top noche. The salmon was fresh and the lemon sauce that complimented it more zhuzh. The service is great I am definitely coming back and menu pricing is very affordable. I highly recommend.
