Prosopa Restaurant

I absolutely love the new look Prosopa! It's modern, but very inviting and cozy. The food was amazing. Literally the first time in my life that I had aubergine that I liked (okay, loved!). The ribeye steak was done to perfection, and the Crème Brûlée was some of the best I've had. Patron Chef Dino is friendly, fun and attentive, and the waiters were efficient and welcoming. Did I mentioned that the prices were lower than I expected for food of this caliber? I'll stop gushing. Just visit Prosopa!

Food was very tasteful. Waiter was friendly and not too present. Deck outside has a warm atmosphere. I personally would not book a table inside. Prices a bit high but not ridiculous. We'll be back to try out more dishes.

Stunning Sunday lunch at Prosopa for hubby birthday. Greacian feast: Tapas with hummus and tsatziki and special for the day Ribeye steak served with all the trimmings delighted. Will be back as there is a whole menu to work through. Compliments to the Chef! The ambiance and service perfect for this celebratory event. Thank you for a lovely meal. Recommended.

Waiters are friendly, the food AMAZING and the managers are delightful. We had a fabulous last dinner for Restaurant Week 2022 and wil for sure be returning again.

Celebrated my sister's 21st birthday this past weekend.
It was such a wonderful experience. Dino made us feel at home from the moment we arrived.
The service is great and everyone made all 23 of us feel welcome.

The food was great. They have the best baklava.

Now this is nice! Please allow me to elaborate a bit. There is reserved parking for the restaurant guests in front of the restaurant front door. Also there is lots more parking around that. The atmosphere is perfect. Couldn't put my finger on the type of music but, it served a tired mind well. Now look, if you sit me down to a table with bright white linen and large clean glasses then I'm your customer. On the stoep or outside dining area is cool and very well lit areas. For evening dining they offer more private and cosy inside tables and even separated private dining corners. Menu is perfect with I suppose a chef with great experience. Try this.

Eating at Prosopa is such a warm, welcoming atmosphere, like visiting family. The food always meets expectations if not above. The lockdown menu, for when you can't make it to the restaurant is phenomenal, delivered on time, piping hot and the food is the same quality of the restaurant if not slightly better. Thanks Christine and Dino, for making a birthday celebration memorable.

This is one of the very few restaurants in the east to maintain quality and sense of community for a very long time, owner run, with attention to detail, food and service is beyond describe, this is one place you meet people from the neighborhood frequently and above all, it's pet friendly which makes it ideal for dog lovers.

Fine dining at its best. Had such a lovely evening at this wonderful restaurant as a graduation celebration. Started off with the vegetarian platter and boy was I taken back by good it was. The aubergines especially are just mouthwatering. Went on to have the Smoked Prawn Tagliatelle and it was honestly just heaven in my mouth! Fantastic food, top notch service, a wonderful owner/manager and beautifully set up. An ideal spot to treat your significant other!

Classy greek restaurant with a more formal setting. We booked for the Mother's day special and was very pleasently supprised. The lamb served on the bone was cooked to perfection. For dessert we ordered the full the range of choices and we could not fault any of it. The Creme Brulé was done perfectly and all portions were generous. The wine and the service was also excellent. Will recommend to anyone - but definitely not cheap.

Prosopa is a wonderful restaurant with great food and n very romantic atmosphere. The fairy lights give the setting a magical feeling. The staff is very friendly and professional and regularly check up if everything is okay.

The food is truly out of this world and their wine selection is top notch.

What a lovely restaurant, the atmosphere is laid back and very inviting, perfect for a long lazy lunch. The service is excellent and the food delicious.

We found Prosopa very entertaining and interesting. The decor allows for intimate nooks where tables can enjoy private dining without a hint of Covid concerns. I can recommend the tapas platter for two or four, best Mediterranean titbits in Pretoria. Come hungry, here is great food at a reasonable price.

They have the most amazing starter dish that I just can't stop eating. My diet goes out the window when I am there. Great atmosphere and definitely a hidden gem in Waterkloof
