Stonehaven on Vaal Restaurant

Stonehaven has a unique atmosphere. We always sit outside with our table on the lush grass. It's always busy during the weekend, so bookings are advised. The service is great, considering how busy they are. Food has never been disappointing. There are daily specials, so you can plan a weekday visit as well. There is so much on offer and boat cruises can be booked in advance.

So chilled. Gardeny, fresh, no noise. Spacious. Boat cruise.proper food. Safe parking. Indoors and outdoor seating. Just loved it. Can book to host an event like we had a farewell for our boss

This is a great place to take the family. It has a beautiful garden which explains the good atmosphere. The food is also good with very friendly service

What a wonderful day on the water. The family gaf a great time on the boat and watching the festivities of the bigger boats.

Food prep takes a little while when busy but it is worth it. And gives you time to relax!

We had a fantastic time watching the 2023 Rugby World Cup final New Zealnd vs. South Africa. The atmosphere was electrifying, and the service was on point even with greater than usual crowd.

Very nice experience. Hired a boat for a birthday party and had a buffet on the boat. Staff on the boat was awesome

Landed here without prior knowledge of the place. Just got hungry while in the Vaal. Very lovely setting by the river. Will definitely go back on a planned visit and perhaps also enjoy a boat ride on the river. Good service from Chipo.

Fantastic food, service and best of all you can take your furry kids.
I had the best steak roll ever, my wife the Schnitzel and their local Stonehaven craft beer wow very pleasantly surprised to find this gem on the Vaal.

A wonderful restaurant for celebrations - birthdays, graduations, etc. Friendly and helpful staff!

I absolutely loved it, we arrived 15 minutes before the kitchen closed and the manager asked the kitchen to give us more time.the staff was friendly and they made our evening beautiful. Our food was prepared fast and our drinks aswell came as fast. It was delicious and fulfilling. I'll definitely be coming back again soon

Love love love this place, the kids loved it and we also enjoyed the scenery and the food. Great place highly recommend it to anyone.

Very nice place and set up. But the experience at the end wasn't nice as our waiter just disappeared and someone else assisted us and his service was horrible he wasn't friendly at all and took his own time to assist.

Great food. Service was a bit slow, and the call buttons on the table was not working. So time between drinks was a long stretch.

Great place to relax, birthday celebrations, conference etc. The food was amazing and the staff members were so friendly.

It is a very very awsome place to relax and enjoy, have a meal, have a drink, very child friendly, animal friendly, the staff are very helpfull and professional and friendly too, a nice family outing.

Buffet: horrible food, cold and not well cooked. The desert? Just go buy ice cream ko woolies and save some cash
