Food was great, waiters weren't really that friendly. It was packed when we were there, so you might need to make a reservation over the weekends.

5 stars for the food.a meat lover's dream. Unfortunately we were placed next to a table of about 20 (very loud) people. My partner & I couldn't even hear each other, so we ended up just eating & leaving.

I can see why almost everyone I've met raves about the ribs at Thunder Gun! All the food we had was delicious! Our spread ranged from T-Bone, Ribs and Liver and Onions. Everything made my mouth water, just seeing the different things being brought to everyone's tables! When I was a kid, there used to be a restaurant called The Chuckwagon. I used to love that place but it closed down long before I was old enough to really appreciate it. Thunder Gun took me back to that time?

Best steakhouse there is. From the times I've ordered from them and eaten in - the quality has been superb. All round awesome! Steaks are cooked to perfection. Sides are generous. Service is good and the staff are friendly.

There is a reason why they've been around for so long.

We had a whale of a time. The guys enjoyed attempting the 1kg ribs, and the girls had their steaks. Great vibe for good ol ribs and beers.

Best food EVER. Had a function with of people. The staff was on the ball and friendly.food no one walked away unhappy. Really was a lovely experience.

Marvellous hot food. A la carte, steaks etc etc. Always popular! Great waiters and owners! They know how to serve. Book beforehand. Its always busy.

Just had lunch at the famous Thundergun. How disappointing was that.
Four different burgers, all overcooked and tasteless. Milkshakes were insipid and the vegetables were watery. Not up to standard at all- won't be doing that again.

Terrible, Soggy burgers, patties were full of grisstle and tasted sour. Skimping on the sauces. They were quite tasteless. We were there on Sunday. I'm sure the veggies were made a week before. Watery and disgusting. No cream but mazina in the spinach. Milkshakes bland and sent back twice. I am so disappointed in this iconic establishment. How the mighty have fallen. Won't go back there. My hard earned cash deserves more respect.

Only the Best Ribs in Town. I dare you go and eat out; take the family; you wont regret it. Early bird catches a worm.this place rocks always jam packed.

Great food, great atmosphere - a great place to be! If you're looking for an awesome place to go out for food, Thunder Gun should be at the top of your list.

Standard restuarant food at the quality you expect. The staff were friendly and helpful. Good place to take the family.

Since covid hit, the food was okay but the service was great. As we try to recover we need to see more of the management welcoming each patron.

The staff is incredibly kind and very helpful. Amazing atmosphere and don't forget about the mouthwatering food they serve. 100% recommend

A long time ago during my highschool years a friend of mine took me on vacation with him and whilst there he imparted unto me the best ribs I have ever had in my life that his Portuguese grandad braai'd for us. Since then I've been searching for ribs that would be even nearly as good but, to no avail.until Thunder Gun that is. Best gosh darn beef ribs in the West in the North! So good, in fact, that my GF and I have made Thunder Gun our anniversary dinner spot with the Lone Ranger 1kg rack our go-to every time.

Their staff are amazing and the restaurant really homey, too. Their Cajun sirloin steak is also just incredible!

Still a favorite after all these years. Great food, great vibes and a great place to have a bite to eat or an even better steak.

Long time since I have been there but enjoyed the Sunday lunch. Service and staff great. Enjoyable experience. Thank you and keep up the great work.

This experience is exactly what you think it will be. Really good pub vibe with great quality and cuts of meat. The service is good even if you are a larger group.

Was great however wasn't sure who k waiter was as we had 2 coming and going and the ribs although delicious were slightly dry
