Yamakado Sushi Restaurant Fourways reviews
41Great sushi, good prices. Recommended the all you can eat! Really nice selection and friendly staff
Pricey, but if you go for the buffet sushi, you'll get more than your money's worth! Best sushi in Fourways. No cap.
Really enjoyed it, great food and staff, nice vibe. Buffet was good, enjoyed the starters, sushi and noodle bowl, abit disappointed with the dessert but overall definitely worth it.
Try the sushi and deep-fried ice cream. I went there for the first time about three weeks ago, and was back a week later!
Very nice sushi platter, and fresh.
Cha siu ramen in a light and very tasty broth, eggs cooked prior in the ramen broth with a delicious flavour complementing the ramen itself. Enough veg and cha siu to fill you up.
Awesome traditional hot pot place in the back a very cool experience with a group of friends feels very traditional and home style
The best Thai green curry of all time, extremely flavourful and fresh and does not over do the burn in the curry itself.
Try it, you will not be disappointed in the least!
The food was good. We sat inside as it was a cold evening. The ambiance was average. We had all you can eat suchi guests and individually ordered suchi meal guests. The service was medium to good. A great family or friends dinner restaurant.
Loved it. Great service and Amazing food. If I could eat what they serve for the rest of my life I would
The food was devine, sushi as well. Service was good but perhaps the kitchen was under staffed as the meals were served intermittently (five patrons). The only complaint I had was that the plate my sushi was served on had a huge chip on it which I found rather distasteful. Definitely calls for another visit.
Not bad, not great.
Sushi is very sticky/heavy. Buffet is overpriced for your options.
It's okay.
The all you can eat buffet offers some amazing food. However, on the three occasions I have visited this establishment, the service has been slow, lacking, and not up to standard. I've visited on a busy Saturday evening, as well as a quite Monday afternoon, and on both occasions the service was terrible. Disappointing as the food is really good.
Service slow. Love sushi platter good. Called 7 times no answer. Place is less than 10% full. Used to be great place.
Terrible sushi and overcrowded despite there being covid. Sushi has so much of rice and so little fish. No one could explain how the hot pot section works. Terrible experience.
BEST Peking duck I have had. Meat so soft and skin perfectly crisp! 2nd time we have been here and both times was amazing. Nice seating area and staff was friendly. Prices are very reasonable!
A major fall from grace! Yamakado was known for quality and great value. Prices have increased dramatically with the new menu but this would be understandable if the quality was maintained or improved. The challenge is that the quality of the sushi has dropped significantly. The rice is undercooked and under seasoned and overpower the other ingredients. Go back to what worked! There was no need to mess with a perfect business.
The food was good and variety was good however the wait between orders was long and the consistency was lacking one order of something would be fantastic then next would be blah it was a nice place to spend the afternoon with my friends and Abby our waitress is an absolute gem
The sushi isn't too bad but it does have way too much rice unfortunately. The pork dumpling filling is really nice but also very small in comparison to the size of the dumpling but it is a buffet after all
Disappointing meals all round, Sweet n Sour chicken not good, Thai Curry very average. Sushi also not the same as we have had before.
