Zagora Grill Room and Wine Cellar reviews
30Had our anniversary dinner there and the service and especially the food was sublime! Quiet relaxed atmosphere, perfect for what we were looking for
Thank you to all at Zagora, the food was amazing and the service was with a smile. Will definitely recommend.
The first time we dined here in December 2020 we were blown away by how fantastic the food was and the stellar service. We were, however, left a bit disappointed on our last visit in March 2021. We requested an outdoor table, and received no service after being served mains. We had to seek the waiter to order dessert and to get our bill. We were left sitting in the dark, as it was late by the time we left. We had to ask for lights. Hopefully we don't have a repeat of this kind of service the next time we visit, as we do enjoy the food, but the service needs to live up to what we have come to expect of the place.
Loved it. Great service, delicious food and lovely ambience. Everything was spot-on, a perfect evening.
We had a booking for the Zagora Christmas Lunch. I found out this morning that a member of our party was in contact with an elderly family member on Sunday which tested postive for Covid and whom was admitted in hospital on Thuesday. I have made a call to Zagora, sent a message via FB and 3x e-mails enquiring what our options are if we do not attend for the sake of the restaurant and its patrons as we do not know at this stage whether the gentlemen may be a risk. Out of moral obligation we decided to not attend and lose almost R2000 as we received no response or call back as promised during the telephone call. Zagora clearly does not care about the health of their patrons and would rather let people attend who might test Covid positive in a day or two than to provide alternative options for people acting in the restaurant's best interest.
Said they had vegetarian options when we called to make reservations but when we got there they offered nothing but starters & sandwiches. For such a fancy place I'd at least expect the chef to whip something up in order to accommodate us. The waiter handled it flippantly as well. Left a bad taste in my mouth.
The food is divine, the service is good, the decide is absolutely gorgeous however it's a nightmare to book a table, it has been thier only downside as the website has numbers that goes to the hotel and I called today 7 times and still didn't get through to the restaurant, I don't think they figured out the proper way to manage this place
Always pleasant service by Lovemore and Patience today. The food is served beautifully.compliments to the chefs in kitchen
Oh my goodness! This is one of the best places I've been in a long time. The most beautiful buffet with a really great variety of all sorts of delicious foods. The atmosphere is fantastic and relaxing. The waiters are all very professional and friendly. Besides the buffet looking absolutely gorgeous, the food is absolutely amazing. Coming from a foodie family I can really say this place will definitely see me again. And what's more is the bathrooms are immaculate, clean and smells lovely. Thank you for a great Sunday Zagora
