Coastlands Musgrave Hotel reviews
44Booked breakfast at the hotel for 6 guests. The food was dry and stale. The staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. Definitely won't be returning.
Fabulous buffet set up at the restaurant for dinner. Celebrated a milestone birthday with family.
Beautiful hotel. Stunning rooms. Amazing customer service. I even used the spa while there. Just loses 1 star on the location as it can be a mission to get out and turn right. Also there's not much of a view
I was delivering a workshop. It is average hotel as you expect better.
My wife tried the spa in a different occasion and was not impressed at all.
Terrible service the workers didn't let us drink soda outside or eat anything they kept coming out and giving us problems for it
I would rather pour coffee for myself, or have a dispenser. Labelling of food and presentation needs improvement. There is a construction site near the bathroom, not concealed. The audio visual is great, the conference room is spacious. The waiters must learn how to clear plates.instead of making towers.
The hotel is quite nice but nothing special, just OK, but the staff is excellent. Very kind, friendly and helpful.
Shambolic, overpriced, amateur beauticians and ineffective managers. We were abandoned in a dark room for ages during our treatments, some of which were omitted or incomplete, while others were botched. I asked for an eyebrow tint, and because it had been left on too long, got two pitch black caterpillars instead. The manager clumsily suggested exfoliation on already broken skin to correct the problem, while the beautician frantically rubbed my eyebrows raw with cottonwool soaked in water. It took two weeks to heal.
The food was world class, the people at the buffet were very welcoming. The dinning hall was clean, well lite, smelt great, extremely close to perfect.
Amazing service, from parking assistance to restaurant staff. Had a good time. Definitely worth it.
Staff is warm and friendly in person. Slightly impatient over the phone when you call them about a broken TV remote control, then they replace it with another broken one.
The place is beautiful but management team need to up their game special housekeeping manager and maintenance manager
I went for the buffet with my family, the environment was calm and relaxing and fun. The food was excellent, and I definitely recommend the prawns, the desserts were absolutely fantastic, I have never had a creme brulee as delicious as the one at coastlands restaurant. There's also an outside area for smokers/if you just want to be outisde and a bar as well. The parking for non-hotel residents is a bit of a walk depending which level you park on so those who wear heels be wary. All the staff and security personnel were very polite and extremely helpful.
Massage scheduled for 12: 00 noon was delayed until 12: 45. (Booked by Lucy Naidoo for us both) The platter ordered that was to be a snack before had to be eaten during our pedi treatments. We were then behind schedule for everything else, as it was my birthday party that afternoon. However the ladies (masseuse) were phenomenal.
I’m sitting at the restaurant while posting this and nobody has
Checked on how I’m enjoying my meal and how it’s going. That petty grievance aside, the food was terrible. They served drinks with no straws. I had to ask for cutlery to have my meal. It was an overall very disappointing experience compared to other hotels in the area.
Had best birthday ever starting from pampering spar to food. I love everymoment of that day (17/09/2021)
Everything is perfect from parking, dinning, conference and bedrooms are comfortable, neat and clean
Overall expectations were dashed. Saw good reviews and ratings but was disappointed. Had to deal with slow services from the desk and the environment was not wat I expected. Having to pay for a hotel undergoing reconstruction.least they could was to review their rates to match reality on ground. Had to get another remote for the room TV! Not impressed overall.food was the only highlight
Not too happy with the condition of the rooms. Lots of items falling apart- especially in the bathrooms. Definitely requires some maintenance
