Coastlands Musgrave Hotel

Hated it. Never going back to stay there.
Absolutely horrible, even a cheap airbnb accomplished more than you guys in terms of hospitality. Below are just a few reasons you guys are overrated and gone to junk status in my travel diary.guard was asleep when I arrived.
Poor service overall
(poor is an understatement)
no room service.overly priced.
(no breakfast included)
room was dusty.construction outside my room door at 7am
(No notice was given during check-in)
waited 20 mins for a waiter at the restaurant
waited another 25 mins for the food.

I don't even want a refund, nor another night from you guys to change my decision.
Hate is a strong word, and I hate your poor management of the joint.
It was really nice, unfortunately, you guys just don't truly care about customer satisfaction or service delivery.

Good service, Good spread for meat eaters.
Beautiful presentation.
Vegetarian, vegan meal options are limited and only fruit for dessert.
Management should make an effort as companies pay per head for use of the conference and buffet facilities.

Iyoh I've loved the pace, food and their massage treatments. Definitely it's my next stop next time I visit Durban.

Decent conferencing facilities, beautiful tranquil views from the balcony, fresh and delicious food at the buffet. I'll definitely visit again.

I had my daughters wedding on the 18 June 2021 with about 40 guests. The staff at Coastlands Musgrave were very helpful. Most especially Portia. A small area if the patio was converted into this magical wedding. A red carpet and entrance ropes were given to us at no charge and round tables with cream table cloths were given. The seafood buffet was excellent. The staff really showed true hospitality. We booked about 4 rooms and decided to stay the night. The morning breakfast was well worth it and was incorporated into the price. Once again. Thank you. Will be visiting again.

Food was great and the staff are friendly and accommodating.

Fabulous hotel with excellent service food is really great. Has a beautiful family area and spa. Rooms area well designed and very comfortable.

Upon reception the hotel is lovely and clean with friendly staff good food and good vibes. Only problem started around 4am when they couldn't contain the noise level caused by guests next room to me. It was like they were having a party with music on loud and voices too high. Reception/management didn't help even after pleading for assistance.
So I wouldn't recommend one goes there if looking for some time out away from busy life.

The conference venues are breathtaking the views and the rooms are perfect no reason to complain. It is an exceptional experience that worth it pricing and the food at the restaurant is freshly prepared and of highest quality.

Its good quick over night stay venue but with the current construction noise and the aged look and feel. I hope the post construction leads to a beautiful well located venue

It would be nice if the hotel installed electric gates so that the guard doesn't have to open by hand

If you're looking for a clean and cosy yet quiet place to dine, this is the place! I was there Sunday for my birthday and my husband and I had a nice time.
Kudos to the staff on the great service!

The venue parking is under construction which makes it difficult to rate. Booked the venue for a company strategy session will try it again to judge fairly after building works are complete.

Terrible service at the buffet, food came burnt (braaied meat), was served cool drinks in cans that were post sell by date. Parking area a nightmare, especially at night no lighting, absolutely dark.

The stay was okay, I didn't enjoy the balcony as much as I expected and paid for, I feel it was too public. Just a screen that divides one baclny room from the other.not private at all.

Very nice and comfortable. Rooms were kept clean and the food was sumptuous. The breakfast need improving to cater for people who like bacon and pork sausages even though the hotel is Halaal. The patrons are not all halaal

It was a lovely setting for a Mother's Day Buffet. Food was wonderful, service was great and the pianist was talented. An all in all great afternoon.

The stuff was extremely friendly and polite️. The food was nice and also the place was exquisitely clean
