Stretta Cafe

Was given the restaurant as a recommendation. Went with low expectations but were blown away. We were a table of six and all our meals were fabulous. The service was excellent. John, our waiter was what you want in a waiter. Knowledgeable, informative and efficient with the added bonus of an excellent sense of humour. We will definitely come again!

Right next to the beach. Could watch the surfers.
Good food.in a nice clean restaurant.
Note.there's no toilet facilities in the restaurant.

We had an absolutely fabulous time at Stretta Cafe. If you’re lucky, the pork belly dish will still be on special when you visit. Just wow. PS. Thank you John for the excellent service!

Experienced terrible service. Waiters messed up our orders. Had 5 Waiters severing us and they were very confused about our orders. Pizza arrived with chopped tomatoes instead of baby tomatoes. Pizza was underdone and soggy. Was served with a small pizza when ordered large.

First time doing breakfast there and i absolutely loved it, our food was served hot at fresh which was awsome. Loved the team on shift definitely doing it again

Stretta (Guy Charles and team) went out of their way to help me organize a delicious 75th birthday luncheon for my mom. They went to a lot of extra effort to make it special for her, organizing the cake, flowers and a card. Nothing was too much trouble and I was even asked to give details of all her favorite things (colors, flavors etc). You don’t find such warm, committed service every day. I highly recommend this fabulous restaurant.

We went to try the Fitch and Leedes cocktail menu at Stretta. The venue is modern and stylish with an indoor and outdoor seating area. Service was friendly, but perhaps a bit slow. The drinks were nice, with some interesting options. They are better known for their food so check out their brunch menu or dinner options.

Food is pretty good, seem to be pricier than the last time I went though. Probably due to lockdown and trying to make up lost revenue. But overall experience is not bad

One of my favourites, and as usual the food was great. Our waiter Sea (spelling) was excellent. A very polite, helpful young man.

Always excellent meals, chef is 5 star. Fav place in Hillcrest. Staff friendly and know not to over other 4 mid age ladies, they know we're chatting lots, they read their customers well.

Food is delicious- however could have done with some Avo in my Chicken Avo salad. The service is absolutely pathetic and this is my second visit.

Such a great environment to dine and have a great moment with family and friends. Professional staff, beautiful interior decor loved the lights and everything. Most importantly the food was awesome to say the least. I tried out the pork loin ribs which I can confidently recommend to anyone. My friends tried the baby chicken and lamb shack which they equally loved. The price quite fair for such large portions that they serve. We will definitely visit again very soon. Cheers to the entire staff for such an amazing job.

Food was not as good as usual tonight. Disappointed as we have been going regularly every Friday night. Did bring it to staffs attention.

Wow what an experience. Not only was the staff professional but the food was exceptional, well presented and prepared. I wanted my friend from Kenya to have a feel and taste of South African food and Stretta Cafe was the perfect place to bring him. Thank you very much for making memories for him and my wife.

An unexpected stop on our visit to Hillcrest. Their pastas and pizzas were amazing. Service was warm and friendly. Can highly recommend.

The food was amazing! Steak done to perfection and lamb shank deliciously fall-off-the-bone, efficient staff, worth every cent!
