Sunshine Cash & Carry Westgate

There are no trolleys, had to wait for customers to off load the groceries before getting a trolley, most of the trolleys are broken uts difficult to use them. Quess are long I had to wait for over 2 hours on the que while many tills are closed. There are no packers, I had to pack my groceries after paying. The service is pathetic

Well came late 2022 and was there this January 2023.mmmh please may the owner take back his or her business. Prices are all over the place and most of the products are no longer on the shelf. The previous owner allowed a wide array of products. I couldn't even get Nivea sprays and roll on. Please sir or ma'am take back this shop to its original glory. Whoever you gave this shop to isn't doing justice to your brand name.

The management is not doing their job, they always sitting on computers and even if you complain about bad service they'll tell you there's nothing they can do, you only find the old white man working there trying to assist the customers, the bakery department is doing a very good job, butchery also they're trying their best to certisfy the customers at the tills is a mess no Packers, and forklift working in between the people. It used to be my favourite shop but now it's like they don't care about the customers as they reach the limit amount of money they spend on the shop, now they just minding their commission.and it's like Marabastad and MTN taxi Rank there

What a nightmare. Only a few pay points open at month end. Customers must que in 4 long ques going to the back of the store and around another aisle. Its unbelievable! Qued for 2 hours to pay. Customers can't get to the shelves to reach products as the pay point ques block the shelves! Prices not on the shelves. Aisles are blocked when products are ofloaded onto shelves during the busiest time!

The que is slow slow everyday. The 10 item que takes max 2hours on a good day 1: 30mins. Why can you not operate like other sunshine. The store is not even that full. Month end and during is the same.

I really dont like what is happening at Westgate sunshine, the cashiers are always focusing on gossip nd now I got charged 3times for only 1 item and when i tried calling the store there was no answer, now i have to take a taxi again to sort this out and the cost of living is at boiling point, This can be avoided by good management and good people skills

The lines are the worst i mean you can't have 1 line and have lazy stuff and think it will work out. At Makro there is also 1 line but trust me the stuff is fast.

I was at Sunshine and i was in the que standing in 1 place for more than 10min that nonsense.

Prices not on all on shelves. Only a few pay points open. Customers are queing down the isles for literally hours to pay. Good luck if you can find a grocery cart of which all wheels are turning in the same direction.

There was no stock on most products.sliced cheese is now available at the managers office.experience was bad

Two hours queing to get to the till and pay. Worst customer service and no systems in place. Won't be going back

This sunshine is Clean. They sanitize your hands upon entering. They clean the trolley for you upon entering. The groceries are easy to find. I was really done shopping in less than 30minutes. My goodness the wait from the time of my completion of shopping to checking out at the cashier took a WHOLE ONE HOUR! I was totally unimpressed. The lines are long. I was with my mom who is over 70yrs old. She had to wait ok these long lines until I asked for a chair where she could sit. They have poor management on how to check out their customers and mind you some stores have check out for the elderly. They don't. Not impressed at all.

Placed an order for a cake on the 10th of November for the 10th of Dec, o ly to get there @ 13hrs20min for them to tell me to wait an hour till they done with the cake.

And A Very Big Surprise We Got.

The prices are certainly affordable and reasonable. But from my experience the cashiers I can't say much good about them. I had to wait so long in queue as the cashier was busy assisting one of the store staff member. You can tell they didn't care much that customers are waiting in line to be assisted. They also don't help you pack your stuff. Well its a very much convenient store, can't say I won't recommend anyone or won't go back. I'm just disappointed with the cashiers

The worst experience ever. The cashiers are disrespectful and have no good customer care. They just up and leave at any given moment with thee longest line waiting to be served. When you ask they give you attitude. I'm NEVER going back there.

Bad service. Queues not moving at all. Bad management in general. Left full trolley there out of frustration

Avoid. Avoid. Long queues. Filthy, unkept trolleys. The aisles are a mess with unpacked goods blocking movement. Worst of all you must pray not to be run over by forklifts moving between aisles. A disaster waiting to happen. Few tills open. Unfriendly cashiers, you pack your own groceries. Yes, slightly cheaper prices on unknown brands only, but rather avoid the place.

Sunshine behind Westgate Mall. Dont go there. Trolleys are filthy and a health hazard. Long long queues. Unhelpful cashiers, you pack your own groceries. Management useless and turn a blind eye. Im never going there again. Rather go to President Hyper and see how well managed it is.

Just to clarify, the Sunshine in Roodepoort next to Lombard is very good, friendly & helpful staff members, the one next to Westgate.jeeeeer one has to go there if one has no choice, those cashiers are rude & let u pack your whole trolley of plastic bags yourself whilst they sit & fold their arms, management is on it as well because they see what's happening but do nothing about it

Very rude cashiers, I went there yesterday, the cashier decided 2 call someone else 2 help whilst I was left 2 pack my groceries, today the same thing happend with another cashier, I asked the cashier 2 pack my groceries she said " here at Sunshine customers pack their own groceries, we don't have packers ", I won't be going there anymore & I'll make sure that my friends & family don't go there as well.

Didn't enjoy my shopping, for such a huge store and not have enough trolleys, had to do my shopping by hand, it's a No no please make sure u have enough trolleys
