I have rated one star due to the fact I can't find a customer service number or email. I have recently taken delivery (12 August 2021) of a reputable brand mattress and it smells terrible. I haven't been able to sleep for two nights now due to the strong unpleasant smell that radiates off the mattress.

It is now the weekend and it seems the mattress warehouse is closed. I hope by Monday The Mattress Warehouse has replaced the mattress I purchased on the 11th of August 2021, and if all the mattresses smell like this I want my money back.

Friendly and helpful staff ordered a mattress. Received my mattress sooner than expected. Enjoying a very comfortable nights sleep. Very happy.

Ordered a mattress on a Saturday and got it on the Wednesday. Delivery staff also very helpful, helped carry the bed up to the third floor and assembled the bed.

Very competitive prices, the display area is disappointing, but they deliver on time and very friendly stuff.

When I walked into the warehouse I was greeted with immense enthusiasm and was immediately sold. He informed me not to worry about the prices online as the in-store prices and online prices are completely different things coz I commented on how I see the prices are exactly the same and so I was ready to walk out coz I already knew what everything costs.

I told him I want two single mattresses for a child who will literally use it approximately once a month. He started with the mattress one step up from entry level at R1299, then brought out the next one up when I asked for the bottom entry level (this was the first thing to annoy me).

The first entry level one felt exactly the same as the next one up and it turns out the difference is only thickness. I asked him what the price is and he literally went on to their website (again missing the point of making the trip if the website and in-store price is exactly the same). He tells me R1000 - I can see online it says R1199 so I'm thinking this is the advantage of coming in and what the first guy was talking about. Okay now we're talking, I'll take two.

SUDDENLY he clarifies it's R1199.

No thank you. I walked out. I don't like their sales tactic which makes a mockery of my intelligence.

You've lost out on approximately R4000 worth of purchases purely because of how you handled me with your dodgy sales tactics.

Service here was good. I love the quality of the mattress. Being using them for two weeks and I have no complain.

It states online that delivery takes 3-5 working days. On our way to 3 weeks and counting, still haven't received our mattress. Correspondence is next to nothing. Very dissapointed

Bongani Mashabane from the Midrand branch made my day. I was in desperate need for a double-hight single bed mattress for my father who was moved into a frailcare unit in Pretoria. Bongani assisted with information on the different products in stock, arranged with the Pretoria branch to deliver the mattress on the same day due to the urgency of the case. His calm way of communicating with me calmed my nerves. Gerhard, who delivered the mattress, even put the linen on my Dad's bed as part of his delivery service. Gentlemen, you do not know how much I appreciate this kind of service in a time of desperate need.
