Worst service yet. Dr Coert Gous should take a look at the Drs he employs. Not up to standard and service is worse than ever. Not at all impressed with the casualty Dr on duty yesterday morning.

Absolutely speechless on how bad this place has become, never in my life would I ever come back to this place.

Stay away, dirty place, everything is so old and broken and they don't care about the people only in it for the money

The Wound Care Centre's not professional at all. They have a bad attitude and are not willing to assist you.

I received such a disappointing service in this hospital at their casualty. The doctor talking to me was rude and did not have any patient for me.

Went the ZAH ER on the 16th of July 2020 at around 21: 50. I was hemorrhaging blood from my uterus. I was turned at away because they don't have Gynaecological services after I called before coming to the ER and explained what is going on. Very bad experience for my 1st time at this Hospital.

My son receive xolair injection thats being prescribe by his pulmonologist a doctor at zuid afrikaans hospital and last month the nurse at the emergency room at the hospital which injects him made a mistake and he receive 2-3 viles at a time and 1 vile cost R5000 and she spill one vile and the hospital replace the vile without problems and my son receive this injection since May 2018 every month at the emergency room at the zuid afrikaans hospital and suddenly today when he arrive at the emergency room they refusr to inject him anymore and the injection must be give in an emergency room because he can have an allergic reaction so Zuid afrikaans treatment of my son is Terrible and Cruel because where must he go! Bad Bad Bad service Zuid afrikaans hospital. Very very bad treatnent of patients!

Never again, place is run down and you get stuck with huge medical bills because the don't care and don't get anything approved by medical aid.scammers

but had a bad experience in icu with my husband whos lying there for 84 days now.some of the staff there have no personality, and dont even speak to you (theres a few that are angels) my husband lying on machines, very sick.but few days now he said someone hurting him and he dont want to be the anymore.he gets anxious when he hears a male nurse then he said thats him, he cant see clearly after stroke
but yes otherwise its a good hosp.

All clean and well.
Some very nice and sweet staff.
Just don't expect privacy.the decency to knock or close doors because of noise or need of using bed pan does not exist in all staff

I was admitted at ZAH on 28th June in Ward 25. At reception everyonewas warm and friendly. Sister Fikile who was on night duty on the 28th changed the positive perceptionI had of the hospital. She was uncaring and surly throughout her shift and ignored my request for an additional pillow. Spent her time gossiping about patients to the cleaning lady in isiZulu. Not cut out for the nursing profession.

If it was not for this hospital I'm very convinced my child would have died. Kudos to the nursing staff at the Pedeatric ward for their willingness to help and fantastic service.

It was must first time being at this hospital and will definitely recommend it.

I was initially skeptical of going to the hospital due to the “Afrikaans” name and the history of the country but eventually went to the hospital and was admitted for 5 days and found their service to be very excellent. Thanks for Nurse Mojapelu, Kotlwano and other staff for making my stay enjoyable

The best hospital with the quality service delivery. Thank you to all the staff, nurses in cardiac icu, the porters, radiology department, keep up the good work and kindness Dr Kurian is the best of them all. Very kind hard working doctor who performs his duties diligently with passion.

I visited the hospital for businesses, it were just tangible, the spirit in the hospital, every one I passed in the corridors greeted me friendly, from the cleaners to the hospital manager, that I ran into on the lift.
Even visitors and patients greeted friendly. I did not experience any of that in the other hospitals I visited in and around Pretoria.

The service from the time of my loved one being admitted until post op has far exceeded the word amazing. Service with a smile and a warm heart is hard to find but today, this is how we were welcomed at admissions. I would like to share this public post to thank Sister Lydia at the Day ward for being kind and patient with us all day. All staff we met with showed us what the meaning of care means. Thank you!

I wish to recommend ZAR as one of the better hospitals in Pretoria. We had experience friendliness and caring towards us as family when my dad was admitted in the General ICU ward for more than 3 weeks. Most of the physicians were professional and caring, but I wish to highly recommend the services of Prof Veronica Ueckermann. She saved my dad's life and took further steps to recommend him for ongoing treatment with another very caring specialist.

Brilliant doctors. Outstanding nursing staff. Immaculately clean. I can recommend this hospital wholeheartedly.
