Zuid-Afrikaans Hospital reviews
44Dit was die mees positiewe ervating Van opname tot ontslag was die beste diens wat ek kon wens om te he
I received such a disappointing service in this hospital at their casualty. The doctor talking to me was rude and did not have any patient for me.
Best hospital I have been to by far.
I stayed in high care for a night and ward 11 for 4 nights and the staff are amazing. They are attentive, professional, funny and truly care about their jobs and the patients.
I went in for a long procedure on my spine and the staff made this not just bearable, but as comfortable as possible. I cannot recommend this hospital enough.
I wish I could remember the names of all those who took care of me, but a special mention to Godfrey in Ward 11 (he worked all the night shifts and was one of the best people I have interacted with)
Sharne in ward 11 who, like all the staff, was just amazing. Not just doing a job but actually taking care of us, the patients.
Jeanette in high care who joked with me and made me feel better when I was mentally struggling.
You guys have a great place with exceptional staff
I went for a procedure last week with Dr Nel and team. I had the most amazing experience. They were beyond professional.
I was in ward B and want to mention Sister Trudy who was friendly helpful and always there when needed. Thank you ZUID Afrikaans Hosital
What an amazing hospital. Efficient, friendly, clean, caring - from the porters, to the coffee shop, admissions, nurses, radiology, surgery team - everyone was just wonderful. I was there for a minor procedure and only for half a day, but it was worth the drive from Jo'burg.
I went in for a hernia operation on the 8th November
Just want to say thank you for the excellent treatment I got. The admin staff and all the nursing staff of Ward C. Thank you for caring and helping, I could see your love the work you do. Excellent hospital.
I was admitted on the 14th of June 2021 for covid. I was on the ventilator for a month my total stay was 45days but I had the best team taking care of me. Dr Johan Kok n his team outdone themselves. They fought to save my life Doc Neva gave Up.
There are a few nurses n care workers that became family.
Sister Salome, sister Petro, Dilly n Monica from M ward were amazing
May God protect n bless All of U at ZAH.
Lotsa love
Mrs HB M Omar
If it was not for this hospital I'm very convinced my child would have died. Kudos to the nursing staff at the Pedeatric ward for their willingness to help and fantastic service.
It was must first time being at this hospital and will definitely recommend it.
Very good hospital, from the front Desk to every single person that works there and super clean hospital. Very impressed
All the staff at Ward A who looked after me from the 2nd of August until the 5th of August are special. I was treated as a person and not a number and the jokes helped me feel better. Ward A should change it name to Ward A+. THANK YOU GOD BLESS
6: 15am and the time had arrived, with great trepidation, I entered the premises of ZAH for a total knee replacement, due to be done by Dr Charl Olivier.
The Covid tent outside had friendly and ‘willing to assist’ faces, what a great start! Temperature measured and operation confirmed, I asked the attendant where to now. Surprise, surprise – directions were not pointed out, but I was guided to more friendly and ‘willing to assist’ faces. Only once the Covid attendant confirmed that I was at the right place with the correct person, did he leave and go back to his table. Administration sorted, efficiently and easily, it was then very clearly explained exactly where I had to go. No chance of getting lost, I grab my stuff and off I go.
Find Ward B and there are more friendly and ‘willing to assist’ faces, which they promptly do and very quickly I am in Ward B Hi Care, sitting on what is to become my primary recovery area. Slightly lost at what next, I am very quickly made comfortable and informed of the next steps forward. Amongst all the hustle and bustle of more patients arriving the COX team attends to each request patiently, efficiently and with a meaningful answer. It was amazing to watch. Almost like Dr Olivier’s own office team was assisting us. No question to stupid or complex. Each patient highly concerned about and cared for.
During my time at ZAH Hospital, the friendliness and ‘willing to assist’ remained an eye opener, definitely not something that we are accustomed to anymore. Right through from the maintenance team, the cleaning team, servers, assistance nurses, nurses, sisters and even the porter assisting me on my exit.
To Dr Charl Olivier – thank you for making your high standard the bench mark for the rest of the team, it was so often said “Dr Olivier said that……. ” and then it was promptly done.
To the Management Team of ZAH – congratulations in achieving service excellence and instilling this throughout your whole organisation. A very welcome achievement indeed!
I certainly recommend ZAH Hospital.
Zuid-Afrikaans Hospital is a private, non-profit hospital in Muckleneuk, Pretoria, South Africa, where the working language is both English and Afrikaans.
I go to the Zuid-Afrikaans Hospital for my annual check up at my cardiologist. Everything is dealt with in a very professional manner. Both the reception at my doctor as well as at the the firm that draws blood for tests (pathologists) work very well and professionally. Very good hospital
I was also at ZAH recently and was impressed with the hospital and nurses and not forgetting my doctor. This is my second time being at this hospital and both times I received excellent service.
Best place to be hospitalized!
Special thanks to:
Dr Aldridge
Dr van Rooyen
Christina Malebati From intensive care.
Such a relaxed yet efficiently run hospital. Staff are so caring and attentive. The positive attitudes reflect in the beautiful original building and private gardens. Facilities and experience excellent. So happy I chose this hospital as a contributor towards my healing.
Can definitely recommend ZAH’s emergency room, especially when it comes to a child’s well-being. The staff are professional and extremely helpful. They take the sting out of any medical emergency. Thank you again for your great service
Went the ZAH ER on the 16th of July 2020 at around 21: 50. I was hemorrhaging blood from my uterus. I was turned at away because they don't have Gynaecological services after I called before coming to the ER and explained what is going on. Very bad experience for my 1st time at this Hospital.
