I was initially skeptical of going to the hospital due to the “Afrikaans” name and the history of the country but eventually went to the hospital and was admitted for 5 days and found their service to be very excellent. Thanks for Nurse Mojapelu, Kotlwano and other staff for making my stay enjoyable

The best hospital with the quality service delivery. Thank you to all the staff, nurses in cardiac icu, the porters, radiology department, keep up the good work and kindness Dr Kurian is the best of them all. Very kind hard working doctor who performs his duties diligently with passion.

I visited the hospital for businesses, it were just tangible, the spirit in the hospital, every one I passed in the corridors greeted me friendly, from the cleaners to the hospital manager, that I ran into on the lift.
Even visitors and patients greeted friendly. I did not experience any of that in the other hospitals I visited in and around Pretoria.

The service from the time of my loved one being admitted until post op has far exceeded the word amazing. Service with a smile and a warm heart is hard to find but today, this is how we were welcomed at admissions. I would like to share this public post to thank Sister Lydia at the Day ward for being kind and patient with us all day. All staff we met with showed us what the meaning of care means. Thank you!

The medical team at The Zuid-Afrikaanse Hospital can only be described as heroes. Dr. Yanila Nyasulu, my physician, deserves special recognition as a true lifesaver. The staff demonstrated remarkable skill and empathy, thoroughly explaining procedures, attentively listening to my concerns, and involving me in decision-making. Their compassionate approach made me feel valued as an individual.

The nursing staff at the hospital also deserves commendation for their exceptional care and unwavering support. They diligently monitored my condition, provided round-the-clock attention, and ensured my comfort. Their friendly demeanour, comforting words, and gentle touch created an environment of trust and reassurance, keeping me at ease throughout my stay.
It is worth noting the prevailing positive and uplifting atmosphere that permeates the hospital. This uplifting environment played a significant role in boosting my morale and aiding my recovery.

In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend The Zuid-Afrikaanse Hospital to anyone in need of exceptional medical care. They saved my life during a critical period and demonstrated unwavering compassion, professionalism, and expertise. I wish to recommend ZAR as one of the better hospitals in Pretoria. We had experience friendliness and caring towards us as family when my dad was admitted in the General ICU ward for more than 3 weeks. Most of the physicians were professional and caring, but I wish to highly recommend the services of Prof Veronica Ueckermann. She saved my dad's life and took further steps to recommend him for ongoing treatment with another very caring specialist.

Brilliant doctors. Outstanding nursing staff. Immaculately clean. I can recommend this hospital wholeheartedly.

Best hospital I’ve ever been in. Thank you Ward B staff and high care. Dr Nel is the best doctor ever, Dr Lubbe is a magical creature and Dr Kapp is the most caring human. This team is amazing.

Staying at this hospital was worth every second! All the staff and Drs are very friendly and helpful. From check-in, the reception ladies were friendly and organised, and from there on, all processes went so smooth until into the OP room. The aftercare from Nurses Marietjie de Klerk and Fanna Nkosi was so caring, and the way they treat every patient with the utmost patience (myself incl.) is something to admire. The food was brilliant everytime!

Very satisfied with my first visit to this hospital. Traffic into the hospital was a bit of a nightmare. Was impressed with a coffee and bottle of water at Dr Thobejane's consulting rooms and the warm welcome of his staff. Very professional, well done and keep it up. It definitely was a pleasure.

Exceptional patient care, just one thing my family member needed me to be there when she came out of theatre and taken to the ward. This was not allowed I think the patient should have a bit more of a say.

Best hospital I have been to by far.
I stayed in high care for a night and ward 11 for 4 nights and the staff are amazing. They are attentive, professional, funny and truly care about their jobs and the patients.
I went in for a long procedure on my spine and the staff made this not just bearable, but as comfortable as possible. I cannot recommend this hospital enough.

I wish I could remember the names of all those who took care of me, but a special mention to Godfrey in Ward 11 (he worked all the night shifts and was one of the best people I have interacted with)
Sharne in ward 11 who, like all the staff, was just amazing. Not just doing a job but actually taking care of us, the patients.
Jeanette in high care who joked with me and made me feel better when I was mentally struggling.

What an amazing hospital. Efficient, friendly, clean, caring - from the porters, to the coffee shop, admissions, nurses, radiology, surgery team - everyone was just wonderful. I was there for a minor procedure and only for half a day, but it was worth the drive from Jo'burg.

I went in for a hernia operation on the 8th November
Just want to say thank you for the excellent treatment I got. The admin staff and all the nursing staff of Ward C. Thank you for caring and helping, I could see your love the work you do. Excellent hospital.

I was admitted on the 14th of June 2021 for covid. I was on the ventilator for a month my total stay was 45days but I had the best team taking care of me. Dr Johan Kok n his team outdone themselves. They fought to save my life Doc Neva gave Up.
There are a few nurses n care workers that became family.
Sister Salome, sister Petro, Dilly n Monica from M ward were amazing

All the staff at Ward A who looked after me from the 2nd of August until the 5th of August are special. I was treated as a person and not a number and the jokes helped me feel better. Ward A should change it name to Ward A+. THANK YOU GOD BLESS
