Who is the intelligence behind the no straws, no lids and no ice for soft drinks? Are you idiots trying to become richer faster? You want to change an international franchise that has worked for years just to screw it up like the rest of the country then God only knows what’s next!
That's office is very clean and the poeple who work there are also living up to the McDonalds values

On the 31/08/2023 I went to McDonalds Columbine, Suideroord, JHB South.
Upon my visit, I scanned my QR code and tried to order the New Loki Promotion meal.
The Self service machine then displayed that the item was no available leaving me to try and order something else.
I used my Reem Points which was over 2000 to get the free fries and coke deal. Before completing my order one of the assistances told me she can give me the Loki Promotion meal by ordering at the front. I then canceled my order and went to her to reorder and get what I originally wanted.
My points was not redeemed as the order was cancelled and I did not receive my free fries and coke. I am disappointed that my points did not get reversed back into my account as the McDonald's employee said it would.
Now I have lost 2000 points and did not receive the order as I canceled it.
I'm unhappy as either the employee lied to me or that the app robbed me of returning my points.
I'd like to know what's a way forward as I support McDonald's often and I cannot accept this

I have emailed the customer care to no avail, I have called customer care to no avail and I have tried filling in the complaints form and that too was not successful.
Am I to visit head office to lay a complaint formally?
Trying to see the prices online is impossible with the exception of old pictures of menus dating backing several years ago.
Its actually sad to have no pricing to allow people to plan their trip.
Definitely one of several reasons l dont set foot in this franchise.

Horrible service. Tried to phone them multiple times and they hang up on me every time I call.
I had bad experience at the McDonalds on Cnr Rivonia and Grayston drive, ordered from the machine and went to sit down, when our order was delivered to our table, the lady just dumped the tray on the table and left, I say dumped because of the harsh way she placed the tray, no greetings, no enjoy your meals or anything like that. The service was not welcoming, We just waited for my son to finish his meal so that we can be out of there. I believe the soup kitchen (free food) offers much better service than this.
I went to MacDonald at Protea Glen we ordered around past 2 till 3;25 still no food my daughter she was even crying worst experience
We went to China Mall on Thursday 22/12/22 and I decided to take the kids to Mc Donald next to makro. The service there is very poor, staff insist on helping us by talking in Zulu. While waiting for our food I asked for tap water which had to cost me R2. Also their fries were too dry and had to ask for tomato sauce and the lady who brought it wanted to even count sachets. The service there is very poor
We ordered 4meals. The cokes we received were all flat. No gas! The changed it for two milkshakes and two orange juices. The orange juice were also flat. The manager stated the ran out of concentrated juice. The could on full one glass and the blanance were put into the second glass. That was also returned and the refunded me with R31.50. The service was disgusting. Thank GOD we still have Nando's. Never again Mac D's
Pathetic service
Waited over 30 minutes for our meals and only after I asked. This was after spending about 15 minutes to register the order. Then the order was short and wrong.
They I was told why I didn't say something to the lady who was cleaning the table who then said she was the manager, Phumi.
The food itself was okay though.
We bought two meal from Mac Donalds Auckland Park and the burger was covered in rat poop.
I want a full refund and I am not going to let this go. They not answering their phone, it goes straight to voice mail.

There are no serviettes. We were given a toilet roll to use as serviettes. This is kinda disgusting! Don't think I'll ever return.
Good morning.we are hosting a street kids xmas party for ages 6 to 12yrs in and around Henley On KLip in Meyerton.these are mostly children of farm workers and domestic workers in the area. We have 120 kids who have never tasted a Mcdonalds and we would like to make their Christmas a day never to forget. Can Mc Donalds come to the party and make their dream come true with each child getting a kiddies meal from Mc Donalds Kitchen?
We teach them about the love of Christ in Sunday School, can you teach them and show them the love of Mc Donalds for kids.

I ordered on the app for delivery at 18: 33 only received my order at 21: 45 after I've tried calling with no assistance and only received assistance after I called the macdelivery customer care to make things worse they delivered a missing order which they are aware of but still nothing is being done about that.my order number is 37-14/10/2022-2
Ordered a fold over with extra mayo or sauce and a hazelnut mocha at the drive through, but received a fold over with no garnish and no extra mayo. Called the branch and spoke to the manager who said I should speak to the person who made it or took the order. They then said we asked for only mayo and no garnish which was A LIE! When I called BS said I shouldn’t swear at them and gave us the fault! Unacceptable!
My husband specifically asked for extra mayo and the gave no extra mayo and took away all the garnish which we did not instruct them to do.
Mc Donald's Monavoni at 06: 23, As i walked in i saw that everyone is busy, others were cleaning and there was a lady who was holding slips and a POS machine who did not even greet or look my way, she just told me that they were not open yet, as i walked out another customer (white man) came in. I sat in the car for a while to check if Customer was to be assisted. 5 mins later when i went back in and could not believe it, the same person that told me they were closed was assisting a Customer. Long story short, Nurse/Nese (i was told she is a Manager) does not treat customers fairly, she is rude and did not even bother to explain that she was only serving coffee. Outside there is a sign that they are open 24 hours, Gaddaffi and Ngwako explained and tried to assist but she insisted that she is not serving anything BUT coffee.
You need to change your policy in regards to the ordering on the computer screens gimmicks.
It is cumbersome, impersonal, time consuming and frustrating. I'm not a technophobe, I'm just always in a hurry and those machines take too much time.
Its the equivalent of phoning into a call center and trying to speak to a human, where all you get is for this, press this.
Other restaurants are much easier and I think you are going to alienate a large part of your customer base by insisting on using those machines.
At least give your customers a choice, if they want to deal with a human, then let them have a choice.
Your service is poor. Tried redeeming using my app, I was told they don't redeem only because it's month end but the funny thing is they redeem only once and they told me they were just doing me a favour the lady said she'll get in trouble if the manager sees her. You don't care about your customer I laid a complaint before where I was told I can't redeem but only buy the thing I wanted at normal price, why do you make us download your app if it won't be convenient for us. And I've lost 2500 point before where I tried redeeming and I was told they won't give me an ice cream because it's not for redeem, till today am still waiting for my points
