Please do this business a favour and fire the female manager. Called recently and asked how they were adhering to Covid social distancing Protocols and was told that if that's my concern I should go elsewhere.

Took a drive past and they were fully booked and as expected, no social distancing.

One wants to support restaurants but when it's based on greed, a blatant disregard for Covid and a manager who should rather be non customer facing, there are far better restaurants to support

Really delicious food, and the deli is well stocked for your DIY pasta dishes at home. The menu is high quality, but the prices also reflect that, so don't expect a cheap meal. Definitely worth a visit for some true Italian meals!

If you like Italian cuisine, this is the place to go! I ordered Spinach Malfatti with mushroom sauce and it a winner! The ricotta cheesecake with homemade vanilla icecream was superb! I give this place 6 stars!

Extremely poor, rude service from the restaurant owner. On 31Jan2021, my wife and I decided to go to this restaurant for lunch. A short while after looking at the menu, we decided to leave seeing that there were no items which appealed to us. We had ordered a pot of tea and before leaving, asked a waiter to cancel the order, which he confirmed he would do. After leaving the restaurant, another waiter approached us to make payment saying that he would need to pay for the tea. We explained to him that another waiter had already canceled the order but he didn't agree saying he would need to pay. We did not want to make him pay so I went to the car, got some cash and went back in to the restaurant to pay. Upon entering, I heard the waiters saying "he's back". I then saw the manager who immediately turned her back to me, accusing me of not wanting to pay, all the while walking away and not having the decency to face or even speak with me. I felt extremely offended by being subject to this behavior since, despite making a false accusation of me, she did not treat me with dignity, and after a while started to raise her voice at me. Is this how a customer should be treated for wanting to resolve a situation and make payment? What I thought would be a very quick, normal and routine gesture, turned out to be a nightmare and I was left feeling extremely embarrassed, insulted and offended. Later on, my wife drove back to the restaurant to clear the air and explain nicely to the owner what occurred. We wanted to do this to engage properly with the owner hoping she had calmed down, and without needing to write a review. However, my wife was received with even worse and rude the behavior from the owner, who raised her voice at my wife despite my wife calmly trying clear and resolve the issue. She shouted further saying she did not care if we wrote a review and gesturing with her hand for my wife to "get lost". This is disgusting rude, uncouth and totally unacceptable. We have eaten at restaurants all around South Africa, and we have never been treated this way before.

Delish!
The asparagus Parmigiana was absolutely lovely, the butternut, almond, sage ravioli was the MOST delish, best in town.

Slightly pricey but worth a detour.

Excellent food. Genuine and authentic Italian cuisine. Highly recommended. If and when the lock down ends adding alcohol to the menu will make this a complete experience.

Absolutely love the food, this is a true Italian restaurant. We have been going to Torellino d'Oro for years and miss Granny but she is looking down and smiling at her legacy.

What an amazing vibe and food. The waiters are attentive and really understand their menu and how this can be paired to an individual taste bud. Food is very pricey but definitely worth every penny. One doesnt mind spending the money if the prices match the food and service. Well team!

Really enjoyed our meal at Tortellino. The Kingklip was excellent as was the millefoglie. The service was also very very good. Will certainly visit again if back in JHB.

The ambiance of fine dining was truly experienced.the staff were most professional and knowledgeable. The food was most delectable.the combination of a deli and restaurant makes the gourmet experience attack all the senses.
